Good kit, steel looks to be solid and comes with everything you would need to plug a tire on the road, the case could be a little smaller for storage in the vehicle but overall very satisfied with the purchase. Helps eliminate being stranded with a hole in the tire tread.

excellent but for big SUV tire , need another type of Insertion Needl( longer)

So far I’ve repaired 4 tires in the past few months. This kits save me both time and money. I was able to repair the tires in my driveway and it trout jack stands etc and save about $20-40 each repair doing it myself

Works great. This kit includes everything you need. I recommend removing tire so you have room to push down on both the hand help drilling tool and the plug insertion tool to properly plug hole. The manual drill tool worked well on my Dunlap car tire. You have to push that drill tool all the way down because the insertion tool has to be pushed down until the bottom of the sleeve rest on the tire rubber. Has to be done this way so the plug is deep enough to stay in tire hole when pulling up on insertion tool. I did not go all the way down the first time and therefore the plug came out of hole with insertion tool. The second time I made sure to lube up nicely the insertion tool and push down while turning it clockwise to allow me to deeply penetrate the tire rubber. Once the insertion sleeve was touching the tire rubber, means can’t go down further, I pulled up on insertion tool and rubber plug stayed in tire. Cut excess and inflated tire. Sprayed some water to check for bubbles. Waited 5 minutes and checked for bubbles again and tire pressure. Everything was holding. Waited another 15 minutes and checked both again. Air holding and no water bubbles meaning no leaks. Installed tire on car. Dropped jack back down and double checked air pressure with car weight on it. Holding. Drove car down the street and checked tire pressure on car pressure gauge. Holding. Next morning checked pressure after taking kids to school. Holding. Now 10 days and pressure is holding. I’ll drive tire for another 6 -8 months or so then change out all tires as they’ll be about due. Carrying my kit in car along with small battery powered tire inflation compressor. Saved me from buying new tire.
