This is my favorite non-aerosol dry shampoo, and it's the PERFECT size for traveling! Fits right in my little cosmetics travel bag, and it works soooo well! I do get a white cast, just like I do any other dry shampoo, but I always put it in the night before and then by the time I brush my hair the next morning, it's completely gone. It also smells amazing, like I'm at the spa. It take a few tries to get the hang of getting the perfect "puff" to spread, but after the first few time's its easy. I would definitely just refill this little bottle for travel with the larger size, and honestly I should just use this all the time, as this little bottle has lasted me so long, and dry shampoo is expensive! Anyway, I'm a big fan, try it out!

My long search for the perfect dry shampoo is over! This stuff is amazing! Just shake a tiny bit of powder into the palm of your hand or a small container (I use a small plastic container), then swirl a powder/blush type makeup brush into the powder, tap off any excess (just as you might with mineral foundation or face powder), then apply on either side of your part (not directly on the part, but about 1/2 inch on either side), along the hairline, and throughout your hair, parting and tapping the powder brush as you go. No mess! I’ve dedicated a retractable travel powder brush for this purpose for added convenience. Wait a few minutes (or ideally apply before bedtime) before brushing through. Allowing some time for the powder to soak up excess oil near the scalp is essential, and this is true of any dry shampoo. But then after a few minutes, BAM! Instantly clean looking, shiny hair that’s full of volume! I have dark brown hair so it’s been really hard to find a dry shampoo that didn’t create a dull “powdered wig” effect. So I was honestly shocked to see a head full of clean, shiny, hair after brushing through this dry shampoo! It seriously works, and I wasn’t expecting that it would work this well! It adds a nice amount of volume, which is awesome because my hair is pretty fine and tends to get weighed down by most hair products I’ve tried. Doesn’t create much (if any) residue, so my hair still feels natural, just like hair should feel— I despise hair spray and most products because I can’t stand anything that makes my hair feel sticky, stiff, or gummy in any way. But in addition to using this to stretch the time between washes, I’d definitely apply this to freshly washed and dried hair if I just needed to create some more volume for styling. I’ve tried SO many dry shampoo products— salon brands, drugstore brands, and have tried making my own, but nothing has ever worked as well as this. For a long time, I just settled on using Batiste because it was fairly cheap. It worked just ok, but I stuck with it mainly because I could *mostly* tolerate one specific fragrance they make. But after using it, the product in my hair would inevitably bother my severe allergies and asthma a little more than normal until wash day. And all the other dry shampoos I tried before that would trigger instant migraines or immediate asthma or allergy issues. But with this, the light lavender fragrance is sourced from natural essential oils, not synthetic fragrances, so I suppose that’s why it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s pleasantly scented, mildly scented, and makes my hair smell fresh, but it doesn’t linger like some heavy cloud of perfume around me, like one with synthetic fragrance might. And the non-aerosol approach is much easier on my lungs! I can already tell that this will last a lot longer than those messy aerosol cans will, too. So I’m NEVER going back to that aerosol garbage! Next time I’m getting the big bottle, because I’ve finally found something that works!

I would give this product 5 stars if it were easier to apply, but I will update my review if I find better application methods (currently doing it by hand). To its credit, it is the most natural dry shampoo I can find anywhere and works better than any other I’ve tried. My hair doesn’t tend to respond well to dry shampoos, and gets greasy quite fast (thin and fine). I have trouble getting this product into all the areas I want it, but it really does work to make my hair look less greasy. The cons are mostly what I mentioned, that application is difficult, which makes it difficult to get to all the greasy areas without overapplication. One night my hair was especially greasy at the roots, and it took me longer to apply this product than it would have taken to just wash and dry it. The only positive in that situation was that warm water wasn’t drying my skin out. Still overall great product, effective, and nice smell. Update: My hair has been especially greasy lately due to some hormonal stuff so I need to apply the product to the majority of my roots every other day—so time-consuming with this powder that I’m looking into other options. It also makes it more difficult to wash my hair the next day; I find I need to use a bunch more shampoo to get it all out. It could be because of the amount I have to use for the excessive grease, but I don’t know if there’s a solution to the time factor.

This is my 2nd time purchasing this dry shampoo. It lasts FOREVER. I have a dark hair girlie. I get my hair colored a level 3 (black is a level 1). My hair is fine and straight and anytime I would use aerosol dry shampoo, they’d make my hair look and feel worse. This makes my hair feel so soft and fresh. And the natural fragrance is not too strong. The powder melts in and doesn’t leave any residue. I have recommend this product to friend and will definitely continue to purchase and use.

This works ok. It’s a little tricky learning how to distribute it through your hair evenly. I love the smell. But it does not do a great job of making my hair look fresh.

A “No poo” gal here. Wow! I don’t know what took me so long to use this stuff I bought at ages ago and I just thought I would try it over the weekend because I know my hair doesn’t look good the day I wash it and I wanted it to look good tha day as it was kinda oily and separating and seriously, the volume is insane that comes from this stuff. & My hair looks amazingly clean. They’re not kidding about the volume. I have really fine hair that doesn’t tend to show volume. It almost looks so fluffy if I’ve just brushed it that it could look like a wig until you style it. It’s so amazing. You must buy it. You really don’t have to use much either. Even though I’ve barely touched my first bottle I’m ready to buy more because I don’t want to risk this stuff disappearing from my life. It’s that good! Picture is from four days after using it!

I love this stuff, especially knowing it’s organic and no bad chemicals in it. It’s a small bottle but lasts ages and it doesn’t make my hair look grey, just have to work it in with your hands and leave it for a bit it looks like fresh hair. Sometimes I take my hairdryer and just blow off any excess. It works great I love it and a pleasant smell, not too over powering.

At first when I saw the bottle, I was like, oh wow that's smaller than I thought. But then I tried it and this stuff works like a hot damn! I only needed to apply a tiny bit shaken out at the roots, and roughed it up with my fingers. It immediately absorbed the oil and gave my hair some volume. It totally refreshed my hair in 1 minute and smells amazing. There are no articial scents, just essential oils, so it's not overpowering or irritating in any way, just pleasant. And it doesn't have any other harmful ingredients, totally safe for my hair and scalp. Definitely worth the money!

It cleans my hair well. But I do think this would be better as a spray. The powder can get quite messy if not handled properly.

Long story short: it definitely works. It works really well. But the bottle is SUPER small and for THIRTY dollars? I don’t know if I’m going to keep this product. I wanted to buy it to see how little I could use of it and have it work. The answer is: a lot. I have very oily hair, and I don’t see this lasting more than one month or two. So I don’t know if it’s worth the money.
