Work GREAT if you use them correctly
I wear a 7.5-8 shoe size so I was unsure which size to order at first. I purchased a size L based on the reviews thinking it was better that they were not too tight. When they arrived they were a bit too loose but still gave more support than a regular sock. I asked the seller if I could exchange them and they just sent a new pair in the M the same day. I was very impressed with their customer service. About the socks - these most definitely alleviate some of the discomfort associated with plantar fascitis, however don't make the mistake thinking these socks will cure you. Do your homework and use the exercises you will find online to resolve the underlying issue. The socks provide exceptional support and are of great quality and comfortable. But you can't rely on wearing them 24/7 and think the pain will go away. As they are compression socks, they do squeeze. That's the point! Many of the reviews were complaints about the tightness, but that is what it takes to relieve the strain. I have a fairly thin lower leg so I didn't feel any pinching or cutting in my skin. The socks stay put, don't bunch up, and hold their shape and durability after repeated washings. Just follow the care instructions and they will last. I would highly recommend buying two pair, perhaps in the two different sizes, to account for days when you need more support vs less. I know every day now which size will be most beneficial to me depending on my activity level the day before and the shoes worn. They look just like the picture. So my review is five star for BOTH quality and customer service. And price.

Get the barefoot feeling you want while having pain relief!!
Back in 2015 I made the choice to live the barefoot life. Every pair of socks I owned were thrown out. I havent gotten to have any socks on my feet since 2015. Now for the past 2 years i have been suffering from plantar Fasciitis, maybe I developed it from being kept in bare feet at all times??? I don't know??? But it causes me alot of discomfort sometimes. So because i have to be in bare feet at all times, all day long, every day, all year long, sometimes with my plantar Fasciitis that becomes painful :(. But I do it. I was then suggested by a freind to try these socks. Being told I can still be barefoot with these socks and at the same time have pain relief. So, skeptically, I bought these socks based on the advice of my freind and reading the amazing reviews. Let me say that after a few hours of having these on, I was pretty much pain free!!!!!. The best thing I LOVE about these socks is the fact they are OPEN TOE :). That means I can still be barefoot with these on as my toes are exposed still. But at same time still get the pain relief I want :). I seen several reviews on here how some ppl put a pair of socks over top of these.... personally I think that's NOT needed. There made to be open toe for a reason, your toes are supposed to be bare and exposed wearing these. With this particular brand I have noticed there made longer :) which I really like!!! **** I have included several photos of these on. The first few photos show you the normal position (where the Toe box of the socks sits where intended-where your toes begin). The last few photos show you all how I wear them IF your toes get cold OR when I wear them with shoes...because there made longer u can pull them down to cover most of your toes. There is NO need at all to wear a pair of socks over these. Your suppose to have your toes exposed wearing these!!!!. Thats how they were made. They are open toe to have your toes exposed, happy and free!!!! :) If they were made to keep your toes covered up they would have made these a closed toe sock. I'm so glad these socks are open toe, so I can still be in bare feet at all times but at same time have the pain relief I need. So in closing I want to say these are amazing socks. If u have any kind of pain from plantar fasciitis or tendinitis, or if you suffer from swelling, or any other foot ailment, and still love to be barefoot give these socks a try! You won't regret it!!!. Thanks crucial compression :)

Size change for the worst
Follow-up: I am changing my review to 4 stars as the company kindly sent me 3 pairs of replacement XL size which fit perfectly. I just wish they had changed the sizing/fit description prior to me purchasing the last 3 pairs. I believe a more precise description of the XL and XXL sizes is in order, with the current sizing an XL should fit a size 10 easily and if ones desires a tighter fit up to an 11. I have 6-7 pairs of these and think theyโre great as they got me over my plantar fasciitis. However this review is for the last 3 pairs I bought. I wear a size 10.5-11 shoe and the original ones were just perfect, just the right amount of compression. They must have just changed their sizing and the new ones are too loose and designed for a size 12-13. Unfortunately they donโt offer an intermediate size so I am very disappointed.

Just what I needed
These are just what I needed for more support on my ankle. I have arthritis and these are super comfortable to wear all day. I like that they are open toe, so I can wear flip flops. Holding up nice after many washes.

Nice quality compression knit, but...
Nice idea, but fit can be tricky. they are not a "one size fits all". I found them too wide in the front opening so as you wear them they slide past the ball of the foot and feel too loose. They are too short for me from the heel to the top band. Another 1.5-2" on the top side would be better for me - might be ok if you are shorter (I'm 5'7" tall). I like the open toe feature as there is nothing worse than having you toes squished - that's painful. I have other open toe socks/compression garments and rotate them as needed. I usually add another compression sleeve over the top band to help graduate the compression further up my leg. It depends on the day's swelling and pain, but hey that's me - could be very different for you. FYI - I have plantar fasciitis, varicose veins, previous deep tissue infections and injuries - talk to your medical team.

Something that helped๐
I cannot tell you how many socks I have tried to help my sore toes. For two years I have bought creams, socks, grounding mats, vibrating foot pads. Nothing helped. After so many failures I found these. Amazing results. I originally bought two. Four more just arrived. Happy girl. There are tight and I did buy Jo on size chart but they are so comfortable and my toes are happy.

Great price; perfect for summer! Nice support, well made.
Let's be honest--I hate compression hose, pantyhose, ankle braces, etc. However, I had bilateral tarsal tunnel surgery, and I continue to have issues with residual swelling that is slowing down my healing process. My biggest issues with my other compression socks is that they're thick and ugly (the options are black, gray, or some proposed shade of skin tone that's just hideous...or there are super-bright socks that are unprofessional). These are actually a perfect shade; they're very light-colored, and very thin. I wear a lot of dresses, and it's nice to have a compression sock that sort of blends in, instead of sticking out like a sore thumb. These will be great for summer! The band at the top of the leg does seem to be pretty tight, but as it's not cutting off my circulation, I'm not concerned. I wear a women's size 10 shoe and purchased the L/XL, so I believe I am in the right size. I'm also using these to help secure my scar-reducing patches (my incision is a now raised, so it's rubbing uncomfortably in my shoes. I'm trying to get it to soften up a bit). The socks do not slip, which is great; compression socks that slip down are awful. :) These are a great alternative to full-length compression socks, and I believe I will be purchasing another pair, as the price is fantastic.

Do you have Multiple Sclerosis? I do!
I rarely leave reviews for products. In late February 2022 I began having an MS relapse with spasms and pain in both feet. I love to walk -- nature walks, walking for my errands, etc., but could not. I could barely stand. Frankly, I was at my wits end. I do not take ANY medications because I often experience terrifying side effects. I began wondering if a compression sock would help. I chose these because they are free-toe. What a difference a few days make! I had immediate pain relief. On the first day of wearing them, I went for a short walk to test them out. Without the compression socks, I was badly limping and struggling. With the compression socks, I had a minor limp, but could walk "like normal" again. They did not make the pain completely stop, but they sure as heck reduced it. They have helped with drop foot and burning foot. They have helped with foot spasms. This was my experience and in no way, shape, or form, will I imply that others will have the same experience as myself. The socks themselves: snug, but lightweight. Breathable. After a while, I barely notice I am wearing them. I have worn them while asleep with no issue. They stay in place. No rolling or bunching. They are so snug that when I wear shoes with them, my shoes feel much more loose than they normally do. I bought 2 pair and will purchasing more in the future. That is saying something, because I LOATHE wearing socks. My normal footwear consists of Capezio leather ballet flats. It is exceedingly rare that I wear any type of sock for any length of time. I have been wearing these and I love them.
