Great piece of tech! Lacks accessories.
I upgraded form a Wacom cintiq 13HD. This is so far a great product, installation easy, really really simple. This is installing on a mac. I haven't tried windows yet. I am disappointed with the lack of accessories on this. It didn't come with a screen protector nor any extra nibs(correction, 3 x nibs are in the pen holder, tug on the cotton loop sticking out from the side of your pad). And you have to buy the stand separately- it's too expensive in my mind. So I didn't get that, but I got a 9.99 alternative: JUMKEET Laptop Stand,Foldable Portable Ventilated Desktop Laptop Holder. It works really well! So I am quite happy with this over the much more expensive alternative. My only concern is that the screen apparently doesn't support felt nibs. Which is a bit... disappointing. I fear that unless this pen screen proves somehow to make up for this rather proportionate downside, I might not be buying Wacom in the future. We'll see. I wanted to buy the pro version, but it was around 3k at the time of writing this. Which seems rather... overpriced. I needed something relatively compact, So I can transport it between my offices without too much fuss. It's a good buy so far, and for what it is it's a good price. Given it's not a budget brand. I like that the horrible annoying buttons on the side of the screen are now gone! The stand I bought also has a nice slot to put your pen on when you're not using it. So in my opinion it's far better than the one offered with the device for a fee of 70+. I will probably add to this review once I have used it for the purposes of digital painting, and drawing technical diagrams when switching between work and personal machines. Edit 28/03/2022: You can in fact use felt nibs on this version! Very happy, drawing is so much easier with felt nibs as the feedback makes adding details all the more easier. I think the device also helps to alleviate tremors? I don't have the most steady hands, and I have noticed a VAST improvement in my ability to draw finer details without wobbly-ness since having used this upgraded version. My only gripe is the pro pen slim. But that's for another review.

Better than I expected
I always wanted a Cintiq to do my graphic design job but I never thought it would change so much they way I do my job, it helps in many tasks i wand expecting it to be helpful like video editing for example. About the product it has an amazing built quality, it is a little thick and has very bold borders which before buying I thought it would be a bad thing, but after getting it i changed my mind. It is a very big screen for drawing which in many cases you see yourself resting your palm over the screen, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing so if it wasn’t thick, and the big borders give you space to rest your palm when you need to reach objects that are close to the edges of the screen. It is very user friendly, a tip here though the first and only change I advise everyone doing is to disable windows ink in the Wacom menu, this will avoid many annoying problems while using it. It doesn’t get hot at all when using it. You can notice a very small part of the screen on the top left part that gets a little warmer, but its not even close to be something that would bother your usage or getting your hands sweaty, the iPad Pro for example, gets very warm when drawing , at least for me it makes my hand sweaty every time. It’s very user friendly and no one should have problems using it. I also though the 1080p screen would be a problem, and honestly, mainly if you never used a 4K Wacom before you wont notice any difference, it doesn’t bother me at all. It also has more distance from the glass to the screen than other versions, but as you have the mouse pointer in the screen you wont notice this too, there are no latency at all, its surprisingly accurate, the pen is just perfect in size, weight, and build quality. The only problem for me is the finishing they have in the screen its a matte finishing that makes it more like a paper when you are drawing avoid some reflections, but it doesn’t avoid reflections that well and it takes away much of the contrast, to have a better understanding on this, if compared to the Paperlike for iPad, the Paperlike is a clear winner in this case. But overall this small problem is not enough, in my opinion, to make this fantastic product any less than a 5/5

Drawing Tablet – Perfect for Animation and High Quality
I bought the Wacom Cintiq 16 as a present for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! It’s been a huge help with her animation coursework. The tablet is great quality, with accurate colours and responsive pressure sensitivity that works really well. It has an HDMI port so it can project onto other screens, and links easily to a PC or laptop for screen sharing. While it’s fairly large, it’s still portable enough to use on the go. Overall, an excellent, reliable tablet for any digital artist or student.

Soon to be Uni Student - Upgrade from an Intous Pro
I decided to go with the 16 rather than the 16 pro because I don't personally need 4k or the touch capabilities. I have used an intous pro for around a year and before that an old wacom bamboo fun for about 4 years. This thing is so amazing to draw on, there is a noticeable difference moving on to a screen tablet. It's much faster to get your lines down, you can go over lines to make them thicker like lining on paper and you don't have to zoom in and out as much. I can really get a sense that this is going to speed up my production of work over the next 3 years. The lack of hotkeys is a bit of a blow but I have set the pen keys to be control - z and space (to move around when zoomed in) The pen is a bit scratchy at first, i thought i was damaging the screen (I wasn't) but i think that was just the nib smoothing down to the way I use it. It sucks but I would recommend the stand as you are more than likely going to want to change positions when working for several hours. Pros- It's wacom, they've always been reliable The cost, yes it's more than other brands such as huion but again...it's wacom The screen is large but not to the point of it taking over your desk The Pen included is the same one as in the more expensive models Cons- No hot keys on the tablet itself You're probably going to need a stand Unless you really need the 4k capability I would honestly recommend this to anyone in any field just down to the fact it is so rewarding and satisfying to use. Just proves I won't go to anyone else by Wacom.

A brilliant but relatively expensive tool for budding digital artists.
I have not used this item as much as I planned to due to a busy year but so far I have liked what I have seen. It is very easy to setup and get started, it did not take me long at all. I purchased Leonardo as an art package as I do not have Photoshop and Leonardo was reasonably priced and had good reviews. So far it has not disappointed and works brilliantly with the Cintiq. I occasionally switch to paint.net which confusingly isnt a browser based package but sits on your desktop, this was free and again I highly recommend. I also purchased the optional stand and a screen protector for the Cintiq, these are optional but I would say essential purchases, I dread to think the issues a scratch to the screen would create and the stand just makes it so much nicer to use, but be aware these will cost you quite a lot extra to buy unfortunately. The quality of the Cintiq is high, the pen is nice to use and hold and if you set up the Cintiq alongside a laptop or PC then you can easily change between screens and swap to the mouse when necessary. I have no regrets purchasing this and would definitely recommend to anyone similar to myself who is interested in digital art but doesnt want to spend an absolute fortune but likewise has the budget to go beyond the very basics.

Eye Hand Coordination No More!
I love the product! Even without the touch ability it feels nice using the xencelabs remote with it. It has a big work space to work with and makes me more confident in drawing compared to me drawing on a screen less tablet where it feels nice to draw on but if your art skills struggle to use eye to hand coordination then this is worth the money. Specially with the screen size for people like me who are used to painting on big canvases. The screen does not feel as cramped anymore compared to using the surface book 2 when drawing! The screen never feels hot. Its nice. The only downside is that the default wires are not long enough for my setup BUTT could easily just buy better wires for a fraction of the money you’re spending… still spending more but ya know… OH and the stand that comes with the product was upside down. Had to rearrange it… Had to recalibrate the pen. Ended up getting a Monitor Arm to replace the default mount. Realising the wiring does not look aesthetically pleasing as the wiring is far from the centre mounting area so its hard to hide the wires. Love wacom

Perfect experience so far
This is my first own Cintiq and I have to say it was worth the price. I've tried the old big models at work and those are great, this 16'' has nothing to envy. The sensitivity is great, it feels comfortable for my type of drawing (I'm a traditional designer and didn't buy the stand, just the small legs on the frame are more than enough for me), you can adjust the brightness of the screen, it has a very sharp image and performs nicely the task for what is made for. The only thing that it's a little bit annoying (if you live in a small place and can't leave it on a desk all the time) is the connection, it's using a triple cable in one, the plug to the wall splits in three heads, one HDMI to the laptop, one USB to the laptop and the specific connector to the Cintiq itself. I believe the Pro version just comes with an easy thunderbolt, cleaner to prepare, but well, I'm happy with the product. The package came as you buy the Cintiq in a shop, I would have expected to be wrapped in a second "delivery" box for security because it's a expensive item, just in case the heavy rains in UK, but anyway I had no issues, inside was all wrapped in protection. I'm still getting used to it but experience so far is positive.

Brilliant Tablet
I've been studying games art at university and had been saving up all year for a display tablet and am so pleased with this! I was worried about the screen being too small but I've had no issues and feel that I have more than enough room to draw. Obviously, this acts as a second monitor, so that has come in really helpful as well, for having multiple browser windows open without crowding the screen, etc. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner as this is a lot of money to spend on specialized equipment. If you're just getting started with digital art, I'd recommend a far cheaper Wacom Intuos or a similar small non-display tablet; I remember getting one for something like £50. As for pen accuracy, I've had no issues so far! Super responsive and no lag. Installation is so easy, just instal the appropriate driver from the Wacom website. The cables are easy, too, just plug in your HDMI, USB and power source. If you have an apple computer, note that you should buy a separate thunderbolt cable adapter if you don't have one already so the HDMI can connect. I already had one so this wasn't an issue. Overerall, well worth the price if digital art is something you wish to pursue :)

Si no sabes qué marca comprar, léeme!
