LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask: Nourish, Hydrate, Vitamin C, Murumuru & Shea Butter, Antioxidants, Flaky, Dry Lips

Let me begin by saying, I have literally tried EVERYTHING known to human kind for my extremely dry and cracked lips. As a person with systemic lupus and fibromyalgia, I’m used to battling a lot of health issues and chronic fatigue/pain. I drink a lot of water every day, yet I still deal with chronic dry skin and unfortunately, even worse, dry lips. It takes every ounce of willpower I have not to bite or pick at the peeling dry skin on my lips and peel it off which only results in my lips cracking open and bleeding. I have tried every single brand ranging from bargains to more expensive products available at every brick & mortar store, including lanolin products, and Burt’s Bee’s chapstick, which only seemed to make matters worse. O’Keeffe’s Lip Balm is the only thing I can use during the day that somewhat helps me. After reading all of the really great reviews for Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, I decided to give it a try. I also noticed other people were leaving reviews who like me, previously had zero success no matter what they had tried before, were combining the Laneige WITH Burts Bee’s Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment. Thanks to their experimentation & taking the time to write extensive reviews, I was also able to ensure that I ordered a silicone applicator and both products! I put each product on every night before bed, & I put both on every morning before I leave the for work, and I carry them in my purse just in case I’m extremely busy throughout my day & not hydrating as much as I should be, just to keep my lips from getting super chapped. I know many people have expressed hesitation about the price point of the Laneige product for the size of the container. However, I would argue that there ARE MAJOR, valuable benefits, including the quality and longevity of the product. It’s truly a long term investment for your skin care. You actually don’t use very much AT ALL! It takes such a MINUTE amount to achieve the desired results. I received mine a few months ago and I have hardly used any of it. Sincerely, if you’re like me, and so many others, & have been struggling for a long time trying to find something that will actually help your dry, cracked, & peeling lips, this is the product to accomplish your goal! I highly recommend also getting the Burt’s Bee’s Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment with Ceramides (in the purple box) & get a silicone applicator, and go ahead and order a duo of the O’Keeffe’s Lip Balm for use throughout the day. Here’s my daily routine: After brushing my teeth and washing my face, using my silicone applicator, I apply the Burts Bee’s Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment, then I apply the Vanilla Laneige Vanilla (careful to avoid applying too much at the corners of my mouth, I have sensitive skin that is prone to break outs) In the mornings, I repeat these same steps again, pack both items into my small make up bag and place it in my purse and voilà For the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, my lips are actually soft and healthy! I’ve been using this product for over 2 years now. The first time I used this lip mask it was given to me as a birthday gift. I ended up losing it so I recently purchased it again. To start, the price is very expensive for such a small container. I was expecting it to be a little bit more bigger but I understand the science and management of skin care brands. Next, the texture of the lip mask is very silky and smooth. Its creaminess makes it easy to put on lip without struggling. It does last a very long time and makes your lips so buttery soft. It also comes with a lip applier to help put it on your lip without using your finger. The smell is very nice, I purchased the vanilla. Although it was ment to be night lip mask, I use this lip mask during the day as well when my lips feel chapped. So overall my product review would be a 8.5/10 but I’m going to give it a 5 star because it really is a great product. I’m going to try and stretch the product to last for another year because paying $25 for a really small container is crazy! I’m pretty sure that I could have found a dupe that’s cheaper and does the same exact thing. But oh well!

I use this every single night. I have used for the past few years. It is a game changer and makes my lips so soft. It comes with a little spatula applicator and little storage sleeve for it. It lasts me a year per bottle. I am on my third one.

Great lip mask. Comes with a applicator making it easy to put on without getting all over your fingers. It smells wonderful and really helps to keep your lips moisturizer.

I live in a high desert, one of the dryest climates in the world. There's no product on earth that can keep one's lips from cracking in this arid outpost, but this comes the closest I've ever seen. Wear it every night and your lips will only bleed sometimes. (Alternatively, somewhere where it is a lower elevation and/or EVER rains, it'll probably keep your lips hydrated and smooth.)

Cons: • ❌ On the pricier side compared to standard lip balms, but worth it for the results. Overall: This product makes lip care feel like self-care. It’s effective, long-lasting, and adds a touch of luxury to my nightly routine. If you struggle with dryness or just want something more indulgent than a basic balm, this is worth the investment.

I prefer the vanilla scent to the berry. It’s softer and doesn’t smell like a cupcake like how some candles smell. It’s not that sweet artificial sugary smell. It smells like an actual vanilla bean but only when you first put it on. It fades quickly which is nice and goes on clear to leave some shine. It actually works to soften your lips too. It is sticky but it’s not thick at all so you can control just how sticky it becomes by adding layers. I usually start thin and then build up during the day, but I slug it before bed. I rarely have to reapply unless I’m actively licking my lips like when I’m eating. Sometimes I even wake up and it’s fully absorbed and other times it still feels like I just put it on. I guess it just depends on how dry my lips were when I put it on the night before. I haven’t had any issues with clogged pores or irritation and I don’t wake up to oily smears on my pillow either. For the size you get, I can see this lasting me well past the 12 month shelf life! Highly recommend!

Excellent product - it moistens and fortifies my lips, leaving them softer during harsh, cold winter days. No more dryness or chapping. More expensive than a lip balm but worth it.

amazing overnight lip mask, smell is lovely and it feels so nourishing when left on your lips. It also lasts, when I wake up in the morning I can still feel it on my lips so I know it has been moisturising all night. I use every night before bed and it seems to last for ages so although it seems pricey for a lip mask it does last a long time. This is he second pot I'm on now and will continue to use. I even use i during the day too.

If it was sold as a lip DEhydrator that would possibly damage your lips permanently, then it would be honestly marketed and I would have never bought nor used this stuff on my poor dry lips! Maybe I got a bad batch, but I will never take a chance on Laneige products ever again. I’m very grateful for Amazon’s refund policy, but can only hope that my dry, peeling, cracked lips will also recover. Seeing a dermatologist tomorrow.

This product is extremely hydrating and smells amazing. Recommend for sure !!
