Tinactin stopped making their foot powder, now you can only get spray. By my experience this is slightly stronger, very effective, and much less expensive. Here's how to use it. Before you put your socks on your feet, turn the socks inside out and put them on your hand. Then make a little depression at the very toe area and get the powder into the depression and all around the toe area. Then turn the socks back right-side out and put them on your feet. Pinch in between each toe once through the sock so that you know the powder will get between your toes. Do this every day (if you have a very bad case of fungus, twice per day with clean socks, so you go through 2 pairs per day). Don't forget to sprinkle inside your slippers, too. And after your fungus has completely disappeared, continue for another week. While you are at it, make sure that anywhere you might touch your bare feet is also clean: like the bathtub and bathmat. Also, note the expiration date on the package (usually around 3 years). Last time I purchased Tinactin powder, it did actually become less effective over time.

I wish this came in larger containers/bottles. It is my 'go to' after shower body powder for all those areas that get damp especially in the summer months. What I like is that it is fine grain milled, if that means soft and not gritty as some powders are. It's a nice size for travel too. Ginger/Chicago.
