Way too small
This thing is tiny and you can barely see the numbers. The pictures shown on the website are deceiving.

Works as it should, user interface is infuriating and replacement sensors are expensive
Works as it should. If you ever end up needing a replacement sensor, it's more than half the cost of the sensor and the head unit with the screen... So be careful with the sensor I wish the instructions were more clear, and it had more than one button It keeps on getting stuck on "hi" mode, even though it's is reading out the temperature as it should I don't really care about bells and whistles and I just need a temperature readout but it's annoying that the controls are so bad, because I seem to be stuck in some different mode and no amount of pressing the single button on the unit seems to do anything

Buyer beware
This rating is more for the seller than the item. I have owned several of these and never had a problem, but this one randomly flashes through the 3 modes. The seller Purely Power Sports will not replace it.

can't replace battery
Never buying this again, the battery is epoxied in and non-replaceable. There is no excuse for this, it is designed to go in a landfill and waste limited resources.

Disappointed in quality and durability
Trail tech have very good products but these temp sensors are a shot in the dark, i received one that did not register the temp on the sensor the replacement they sent also had issues but it would vary the temp reading wildly even after checking if the resistors we're the problem the issue continued until the battery died and since its not replaceable the cable was chopped off and soldered to a meat thermometer which is working better than this thing.

Good buy just wish it was priced a tad lower. Also of you get connector wet it gives inaccurate reading. Once dry worked perfect
