These crush washers fit exactly as expected
With crush washers available as these are, there’s no excuse not to change the old washers when changing the oil filter on a motorcycle. For all the nay sayers out there, it hardly matters that these washers are ‘thinner’ than the OEM washers. Or to those that say these washers do not compress. These are made from aluminum and they do in fact compress quite nicely. When changing the existing washer and installing the new washer, like these, by all means, do not be lazy, i.e., finish the installation by using a torque wench and achieve the proper torque for the oil drain bolt specific to your bike. By doing so, you will get the service out of the washer as expected. Compression will be created and there will be near zero chance of any leaks. And chances of damaging the threads on the drain pan will be minimized as well.
