Can these be used with water?

Yes, absolutely. They are gel water crayons. Very similar to the gelatos. But once dey, gelatos are set. I think the FC gel crayons re-activate with water after they've dried the first time. So you'd have to be careful with layers.

What are these like, ink or wax?
