I am a rabid fan of Stephanie Tourles. Everything she produces can be counted on not only to be delicious, but also easy to make. After many years of using raw food recipes from Raw Energy, I was delighted to find Raw Energy in a Glass. With the same attention to ease of execution and deliciously healthy ingredients, Tourles has outdone herself in this companion volume of recipes for a sturdy, high speed blender (or Vitamix) that can be made with easy-to-find ingredients and like Raw Energy, a list of nutrients is provided for nearly every selection. From the Purple Anti-Oxidant Cockail to Blackberry Bliss Shake or Cucumber-Apple-Spinach Cleanser, this selection of 126 recipes is sure to have something for every palate and nutrition need. In true Tourles fashion, a comprehensive description of ingredients, equipment and prep techniques is included. You could easily skip the first part and jump right to the recipes for immediate gratification, but referring to them as you move through the drinks will help you understand both the science and sense behind the recipes. Tourles is also the author of Organic Body Care Recipes, Hands On Healing, and Essential Oils, A Beginner’s Guide; all thoroughly researched and reliably documented.

This has become my favorite smoothie book. Yummy desserts as well as savory smoothies. I liked so much I purchased a copy for my son-in-law. You won't be disappointed.

Nothing new. Could have been two pages saying - buy some fruit and veggies and put them in a blender. If you have done any blender drinks this is mostly old news.
