Also noticed a slight static noise buildup after 2 weeks of normal use.I bought them for a 89 year old lady to use to communicate among her friends. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for a senior citizen *by on Reviewed in the United States December 1, 2013* I got this in 2012 for a 90 year old friend who had trouble handling other tiny hearing aids and lost many of them. This unit was too large to lose and he found it easy to use having just one not-to-small volume control wheel. He claims it works very well for him especially in a small group meeting where he can keep his thumb on the wheel to adjust the volume for low or loud voices quickly. It has a pen like clip to hang it on a shirt pocket that is handy. It takes 2 triple A batteries that seem to last a long time.The only reason for not rating at 5 stars is for a little fuzz noise and static when adjusting it, but it doesn't bother my hard of hearing friend at all; and because one of the ear buds stopped working, but they are cheap to replace.
