I am very pleased with the quality of this compass. The scripture saying is perfect for my great nephew’s first communion.

Our 11-year old grandson and 8-year old granddaughter were both baptized last Sunday. We ordered each of them this compass. They were thrilled! Today our grandson has attached the compass to his jeans belt loop by the chain and is wearing it everywhere. I think it is suitable for either a school-aged child or an adult. And I love the Bible verse on it, reminding them to trust in the Lord and He will lead them the way they should go. The compasses also came with an extra gift of a tiny hourglass. All the sand runs through in about 2 seconds, so I’m not sure what use it could have, but the grandkids were fascinated by it anyway. It can also be attached to the chain. All in all, this is a great gift, suitable for a baptism, graduation, birthday, and many other special occasions. We’re happy it was such a hit!

The other reviews said this pocket watch made a great gift, and they were right. I got this for my dad for Christmas, and I was immediately impressed with solely the quality of the leather case it came in. It actually has a thick belt loop on the back so it can be worn, and it has that new leather smell to it still. Then I was stunned by the beauty of this pocket watch and its chain--I mean just look at it. The pictures don't do it justice. And to my happy surprise, it came with two complimentary keychain hourglasses. I plan on giving one to my dad and keeping the other for myself. Lastly, the note that came with it from the company was very reassuring and just nice. That small business courtesy is what really pushed me to actually write a review. You guys are great. This compass is absolutely beautiful! It was a 1st Communion gift for my 8 yr old nephew. Solid, inscripture is done perfectly and has that authentic antique finish! I have order 3 more for other gifts since then (with different inscriptions) because the quality and look of it is unmatched! Buy it and thank me later!

I bought this as a gift for my grandson. He is 8 and has been going hunting with his Dad since he was five. This year he will learn how to use his very own Compass!
