Great Quality, Great Value, Just Great
I’m going to be honest- I didn’t realize how many straws I was ordering! This is all you will ever need! You’ve got two different lengths of straight straws and two different lengths of curved straws, which is perfect for me because I prefer the curved straws and my husband prefers the straight straws. I got these because I’m trying to get away from plastic and silicone (I know the tip is still silicone but it’s easily removable) and I also just like the feel of the stainless steel straws better than the aforementioned alternatives. These work really well in drinks with big ice cubes which is a big plus for my family since that’s the only time we use straws. They came with a nice velvety case, although I’m not sure how useful that actually is because once I took them out of the package I’m never going to store them in the velvet case. I suppose it’s good for people to have the option to do that if they wanted to, but I just keep mine with my utensils. They also came with two straw cleaners, which I definitely appreciate. Most of the reusable straws I’ve ordered in the past come with one straw cleaner and I tend to put the straw cleaner in the dishwasher after using it so I like that I will still have one to use while the other one is washing. I can’t say enough good things about these straws. I really like them. I think they’re a good value for the money. I think they are good quality and will be long lasting. I like the various size and shape options. This is just one of those things that I get all hyped up over.

A NICE ASSORTMENT FOR THE PRICE
I WENT BACK AND FORTH WITH THESE AFTER READING THE REVIEWS THEN DECIDED TO JUST BUY THEM AND WRITE MY OWN REVIEW AFTER TRYING. SO HERE GOES ~~ THIS IS A VERY NICE SET IN AN ASSORTMENT OF STYLES AND SIZES FOR THE PRICE. I RECEIVED QUICKLY AND THEY WERE PACKAGED NICELY. I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES SLIDING THE SILICONE TIPS ONTO THE STRAWS. THEY DIDN'T JUST GO ON AND EASILY SLIDE DOWN THE STRAW AS THAT IS THE LAST THING WE WOULD WANT. THEY WENT AND WITH JUST A LITTLE FORCE SO THAT THEY WOULD STAY IN PLACE AND THAT IS WHAT WE WANT. THESE ARE EASY TO CLEAN AND THEY DRY QUICKLY. MY FAVORITE THING IS THAT THESE ARE NOT THE REAL WIDE STRAWS THAT YOU SOMETIMES SEE ~~ THESE ARE NARROW AND THAT MAKES THESE PERFECT FOR ME ~~ EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT AND HAS THEIR OWN OPINION HOWEVER IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE SET OF REUSABLE METAL STRAWS THAT ARE NARROW TO DRINK FROM THAT ARE EASY TO CLEAN ( THESE COME WITH SEVERAL CLEANING BUSHES) THEN THESE ARE FOR YOU ~~ ALSO THESE COME WITH A TRAVEL BAG SO IF YOU WANT TO BRING SOME WITH YOU TO USE WHEN YOU ARE OUT AND ABOUT THERE IS ANOTHER ADDED PLUS. ~~ THANK YOU

SENSATIONAL STRAWS!!!
During my recent trip to the dentist, the hygienist asked me if I drank coffee or tea, because my teeth were stained. Admittedly, I am an avid coffee drinker! That inspired me to investigate what could help. Hence, drinking my hot, black, morning coffee through a straw can provide less direct contact with my teeth. The Set of 16 Reusable Stainless Steel Straws Extra Long Metal Straws are Totally Ideal for what I needed!! The straws are made of a sturdy metal that's not too thick to prevent an even flow of liquid. I haven't used all the different types of straws included in the set yet, but I know they'll all have the functionality I want. The tall, curved straw fits perfectly in my 10 oz mugs, as well as the larger ones. You can also use the straw as a stirrer. So far, I've only used one straw for hot coffee, but I'm sure all of them work just as well in helping to keep cold drinks cold. A note of warning: I do use the silicone tip to sip from, but for coffee, the metal part of the straw can get just as piping hot as your drink, so be mindful when holding it.

Plastic piece is hard to remove
Pretty easy to assemble, the plastic pieces fit really snug so you do have to shove them on there. If you want to take it off good luck, I had to use needle nose pliers. They are resistant to chewing, we had family over and the kids love to chew on things and I thought it would be hard enough to let them chew without damaging but soft enough to not hurt their teeth. Great straws and the size differences really help as well. I love all of the colors it came with and the cleaning brushes really make the difference if you drink a smoothie with them. Gets everything clean and they also are dishwasher safe

Best, most responsible purchase I've ever made
I've been on the fence for quite a while regarding buying re-usable straws. Straws aren't a product that was used very often in my Household until recently. For some reason, my teeth have become sensitive to cold /hot beverages and I found myself grabbing a handful of plastic straws to take home every week during my Saturday morning coffee run. I had started using straws for every one of my beverages, cutting them to desired length of they were to long. I can't remember how I happened to come across this product, but I'm so glad I did. I didn't even know there was such a type of product until I saw this. It seemed like quite a bargain at this price, but after reading all the positive reviews, I went for it. And I'm so glad I did. I didn't realize how many plastic straws I was going through until I stopped using them. This is such a high quality set that includes both Small/Large, Bent/Straight as well as the little extras that made this stand out to me from the other brands selling similar products... 4 cleaning brushes which gets all the way inside the straws, and the multi colored rubber tips that are very easily to put on and take off, yet they don't move an inch while using. Bit too mention the slim, velvet bag that makes it easy to make sure I always have a few in my purse for when I'm out. 16 straws is more than enough for my household. Besides myself, my 4yr. Old Daughter likes the small bent straw in certain drinks, so she has her own special Red tipped straw. I personally tend to go for the bent style as well, except in my Tumbler which as shown in picture uses a Tall, straight straw. The sizes are spot on perfect for my needs. I love the Tall, bent ones for my Water Cup which is always filled and within arms reach of me, and the short bent ones for cans of soda(I allow myself 1 can of Coke a day). There is absolutely no trace of a metallic rate, even in carbonated beverages, which I was worried about. They are comfortable to drink from with our without the rubber tips, but I do prefer the tips on them. Not only are these straws environmentally responsible, but also very convenient. Now, I know I always have a straw on hand, even when I'm out and they're so easy to clean. I could go on forever about all the reasons I love this purchase, but let's just say there is nothing to dislike. It's a great price and if you're even contemplating purchasing... Just go for it. You won't regret it.

Great help for Hospice patient.
These straws have been great in helping to hydrate a Hospice patient. The plastic bendy straws from the grocery store would not work for us anymore, but this has been great! The silicone tip has really helped since some people will bite on a straw. The multi color tips are great for multiple users and the included cleaning brush is a must! If you are worried about not being able to monitor if the patient, child, or disabled person is actually drinking, do not worry. In my case I am usually holding the cup and rest a finger on the straw. I can feel the cold or hot liquid from outside the straw. So far no bends or kinks, and it even goes well in the dishwasher! Great product that has been a great help.

No worries of plastic leaching and very sturdy.
The long straws are long enough to reach the bottom of a 20oz bottle with the cap on. I drilled a hole in my screw-on cap so it would accept a 5/16" OD pex tube straw I made. But you won't have to drill that big of a hole as these are 7/32" OD in diameter. They are very sturdy as they are stainless steel. The package comes with 16 silicone sleeves to slide over the end of the straws to protect your teeth. Four straws are bent at angle of 33 degrees and the rest are straight and come in varying lengths of four each..The package also includes 4 brushes for cleaning inside the straws. I recommend cleaning them by hand. They look nice, too.

Great for iced coffee, kid and adult friendly, easy cleaning
I only really began caring about having straws at home when I started making my own iced coffee -- chugging that like a soda was a less than satisfying experience. Paper straws were doing the trick -- though most of those eventually found their way into my daughter's creative exploits. But, between not wanting to buy paper straws all the time, being a little more enviro-conscious, and seeing that re-usable sets had become pretty darn cheap, much easier to maintain and overall more hygienic -- I decided to try these out. And wow, why doesn't everyone have a set. Here are what the I see as the bonuses of this item in particular: 1) Number of straws -- getting 16 straws of this quality stainless steel as this price is amazing. Also, even if you are entertaining (moderate sized dinner), this set has got you covered ... the different colored nubs and sizes and angles allow you to mix and match, which to me is kinda nice. Also, if you are having a larger gathering or have a big household or want 8 of each type, well, 20$ for 32 straws is still a deal. 2) Cleanliness -- many other sets come with plastic nubs as well, but I like that these are tubular as opposed to narrowed or filter-shaped. This ensures I can use the supplied pipe cleaner if needed, but also makes me feel like it's way less likely that these tips will collect bacteria, grime or other gross stuff. I also soak the tips in groups of 4 in dishsoapy water after use. 3) Ease of use -- getting the tips on and off is pretty easy, easy enough for my 5 year old to handle. I kept the little bag in my utensil drawer as it helps keep the straws organized, but store the tips in another tiny Tupperware as they are hard to remove from the provided sack. Only a couple of issues, but not really downsides: a) straws in the dishwasher -- depending on how your utensil section is set up, finding a spot might require a little finagling. in a carrier type, you'll have to place the angles down and lean them properly, and with the straight ones, kinda wedge them into the checkered openings -- this, to ensure they don't fall through to the bottom of the washer. Might be easier with the "flat rack at the top" dishwashers, aside from the angled straws. b) the rubber nubs (after using the same 4 for a few weeks) seem to be getting a bit looser, just a bit. I can see maybe needing to replace them after a year or so. But given that we've only been using the same 4 tips, we'll just move on to the others if these get too loose. As they become loose, btw, it's more likely that a child (not really an adult) might be able to move the tip and then expose the metal, while not uncomfy to sip through, might not be so pleasant if a child starts gnawing on it, etc. overall, at the price for the quality and quantity, along with ease of use -- would highly recommend.
