Works well.

I end up needing to take three heavy duty waterpills. Which means I have to go, even at night. I absolutely hated getting up, and trudging through the house, in the dark and cold. I bought a number of these. I have been using them for some years now. I haven't had a seam split, or other spillage, save if I juggle them too much. The lids aren't extremely water resistant. Just don't run with them, drop them, or let them go so they drop on their sides. But, as mentioned, I haven't had any major issue that I don't consider user error, and those were small spills even so. Sometimes even when they could have been much worse. The leak, on the side, can be very slow if you tighten them well. I may buy more, and cycle through. Just in case time takes a toll. That is to be expected, of almost everything. Don't I know it. -------- Update: I have owned these for three years, and some. I was sure they wouldn't hold up. They have held up very well. I am still using them. No problems so far. I rinse them every time they fill, then bleach them, adding very hot water. I am surprised and impressed.

I would have left a lower rating, but I realize that they do not claim to be leak-proof. The description is accurate. I just assumed that for that price it would be leak-proof; my mistake. The picture shows why it isn't leak proof. Also, the lid gasket is a foam material that would probably start to leak after a short while anyway. It has a wide enough base that leaking is not likely to be an issue as long as it is placed on a flat surface. I just need to be careful where I put it in my van. If I put it on top of stuff, where it can possibly get tipped, then I'm asking for trouble. The size seems to be more than I would ever fill in one night.

The screw on cap could be better, it's not air tight, and the unit has a tendency to roll over but if you secure it properly and dump it out frequently you'll be ok. It's made of #2 plastic , very durable .

Ho ho ho - have I used this thing quite often, over the last two and a half years - I wonder how many gallons of urine that is - you don't have to answer - I'm just thinking out loud - when I was sleeping in my car, and I finally built tiny home - this thing was a godsend - Murder bot end message.

Leaks. Bad screw cap. Top heavy on nozzle side. Tips easily on nozzle side and leaked urine on my oriental carpet. Extremely frustrating when you’re up in the middle of night and you’re trying to reseal the device and the cap will not catch the grooves properly and therefore will not seal. Bad engineering on cap design. 3000 ml is a nice capacity but does not easily fit into a bathroom sink for easy rinsing out. 2000 ml capacity in prior urinals has been sufficient space and smaller footprint allows easy cleaning in bathroom sink. I would’ve happily paid more money for a device that sealed properly. Avoid this product and don’t void in this product if you know what I mean. Days later I’m still trying to get the urine smell out of the carpet. This product is a disaster waiting.

Excellent build quality with only one slight area that could be improved. The bottom is slightly curved (probably to avoid creases and 90° edges that are hard to keep clean, inside the reusable bottle) however it would be nice to be able to stand it on its end so as to not require so much space on small tables. The rounded base past the handle (opposite the opening) prevents this. I do like the screw on cap versus the traditional snap on.

Great capacity for recycled beer, I had no issues with leakage, I’m not sure what other users are doing with theirs, perhaps swinging them around or playing football with them. The neck is wide enough as long as you are not a ‘70’s Dutch porn star. Not sure what else to add, it’s a bottle for peeing into.
