For TIG welding these gloves are a major improvement over thick conventional welding gloves. The dexterity and feel improvement are significant. TIG generates less heat and needs more precise control than other welding techniques so these gloves provide that improved control with adequate heat protection. TIG needs finesse to coordinate movement of the filler rod with the tungsten arc... (the surgery of welding) so these thinner gloves enable higher quality work. White Tillman gloves are also a well recognized brand. What I use at home and provided to my team at work.

Ok... So I don't leave many reviews, but I have to say that I am a little bit picky when it comes to gloves of any sort. I work on a lot of small things, and gloves can be frustrating to say the least if they are do not fit and allow the sort of dexterity I prefer. I have used a few gloves when tig welding, among other things, and I was so impressed with the fit and quality of these from the moment I tried them on that I felt somewhat compelled to say so. Everyone has different preferences, but for me these will be my new favorites. Thick enough to offer protection, but thin and supple enough to not get in the way... Totally glad I bought these.

I've been wearing these Tilly's for years and they've always served me really well as a quality, durable glove at an economic price. however in the last couple months Harbor Freight started stocking tig welding gloves for the same price and I decided to try them out just to see if they were any good at all. It would be more convenient to just buy them in the store when I need them, rather than buying these tillmans online and having to wait 3 days. and well to be completely honest, the Vulcan ones from Harbor Freight are a lot better. The leather is thinner giving you more dexterity at the cost of durability. the Vulcan gloves fit my hands a lot tighter which also adds to the improved dexterity, but not so tight that they are uncomfortable or restrict movement. if you don't have access to a harbor freight then get these Tillman gloves, they're awesome gloves and all you'll ever truely need, but if you have the chance, at least give the Harbor Freight ones a try because they are my new go-to glove. And I dont normally expect this level of quality from harbor frieght

These are really good gloves. Very comfortable, soft, tactile, yet sturdy. I will buy again!

Tillman always makes a good product. Thin thickness so you can feel the tig rod you are working with and good price.

Stitching was spot on and the size I chose was spot on,,I'm going to use them for several different reasons NOT JUST welding

They are tig gloves and work great!! Cheaper than the HF place
