This Gesso serves its purpose well for my craft projects, especially when making book covers with fabric. It effectively acts as a primer to prevent writing from showing through the fabric. Application is easy, and cleanup is a breeze. Opting for the larger size is cost-effective, making it a handy addition to my craft toolbox. While it meets my needs, it's not without its standard features. If you're into similar crafts, this product might be worth considering.

I really like this Gesso goes on smooth and preps the canvas well.

I can tell the difference in this primer and ones I've used previously. Great texture and color quality, good value for the money, and smooth application.

Have yet to use it but arrived fast.

This acrylic is wetter and more saturated in nature. Which it does make it easy to spread, but not as easy to build up. Granted I've only used it straight out of the jar. Easy to clean tho. The texture is not graint it's very smooth. The quality feels good.

Used this to prepare canvases and it worked just fine. The drying time was reasonable for what it is and as long as you clean your brush in a timely manner, it will not stain. It lasted me months and I still had some left by the time I no longer needed it and I would use it to apply two coats on the canvas(es) I was preparing. Gives a nice white color that matches actual white canvas very well. The texture and thickness is really a lot like using acrylic white paint. As long as you use a proper amount of coats (such as two), the canvas underneath won't show through.

I love having the jar instead of pouring out of the bottle. Works very well.
