JessEm 02121 Mast-R-Lift II Router Lift – 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" Precision Router Table Lift

Although I waited almost one month to receive the JessEm MastR-Lift II from Amazon, but it was worth the wait. It is an excellent piece of equipment everything works very well and smoothly. The lift has enough travel to raise the router bit lock knob clear above the plate which makes changing bits very easy. I only have two point to bring to the manufacturer's or seller's attention. 1. The 3/16 allen key wrench was missing. 2. The knob on the crank handle comes loose when turning clockwise and tightens when turning counterclockwise. I noticed the screw holding the knob to the crank is Metric where all the others are of the English unit. I strongly recommend this tool without hesitation.

All router lifts are expensive so I went for years manually adjusting the router height on my router table. Very hard to get everything perfect that way. I finally broke down and invested in a router lift and it was a GREAT investment. I can adjust the router bit height perfectly and very quickly. I researched the available router lifts for features and breadth of router motors they can hold and the JessEm was the best I could find and seemed to have a very reasonable price. Once I received it I was blown away by the quality. The parts are machined to high tolerances and the finish, mostly hard anodized, is exceptional. The instructions are excellent and they provide everything you need to use and adjust the JessEm router lift. This is one of those "wish I had done this years ago" purchases and the JessEm quality makes this a fantastic buy. I could not be happier. If you are looking for a great router lift, this is it!!

Fit my benchdog cast iron table well. The issue came with the leveling screws. There was a ton of paint buildup in the holes, 3 or 4 the screws stripped, broke or got stuck before its intended use. I had to get stout screws, and a 1/4 28 tap to clean out the threads. After the tap it worked out great.

Well, well, well, made lift. Very accurate and sturdy. If you’re using a router table you’re looking for accuracy. Money well spent.

The lift works exactly as described. However, the instruction manual must be an older copy. Shows a plate with 10 threaded holes for the leveling screws and even includes the 10 screws mentioned. Problem is, there are 12 leveling screws needed for the new style plate. Not a big deal to run and get 2 more. Came with 3 insert plates for different sized bits. Very smooth action and locks my PC 890 rock solid. Very happy so far. Time will tell…… One thing to note. The seller was CT Power Tools. Shipping was absolutely horrible. The lift was picked up in CT on 3/16/22 and didn’t move for 6 days. Then, went from Connecticut to Pittsburgh to Chicago in a matter of hours, then sat for 3 days. Finally made it back to Indiana and delivered on 3/26/22. The box looked like it had been put through the ringer, but the lift seems to be undamaged .

Great product! Works very well and very accurate. JessEm Mast-R-Lift II 02121 Went together nicely and fit in my Bench Dog router table extension. I was able to mount my Bosch 1617 Router with no problems as well. Overall very pleased with this Lift.

The quality in this product is just what I expected. Beautifully engineered and manufacturered tool. Even the shipping box was designed to cradle the router lift during shipping. I was not disappointed in the lift. This completes my shop made router table and will make setting up cuts a breeze. One note: my Craftsman Router model was not listed as one of the routers that would fit. Guess what? it fits fine.

I chose five stars because that is the highest! This is a serious well made carefully machined piece of equipment. It is easy to use and allows very precise adjustments. I think I will love to own this for many years to come. I would strongly suggest using lock-tite on the set screws that hold the plate level to the table because of the vibrations of the router motor. I would highly recommend this lift to any serious woodworker that demands tight tolerances and easy set-up.
