We got this as a gift for my son after he got baptized. He is 7 1/2. He loved it and still reads it often. He likes the insert pages too. We paired it with a bible case and it is perfect.

My special needs adult son asked for a Bible that he could actually understand. I found this one, and it was perfect. He now picks up his Bible even outside of church! Praise God!

I got this for my 12 year old nephew for Christmas and he absolutely loved it!! I wasn’t sure how he would react since it doesn’t have the footnotes of a regular life application study Bible but some of the pages throughout, break everything down and simplify it for young minds. Again, he loved it! And every time I see him he talks about how much he’s been reading it and “digging into scripture”. I love it. 10/10 definitely recommend this Bible for young boys!! He also loved the design, colors, and the glow in the dark cross on the front.

My son is 11. This Bible has helped him understand God’s word better than ever before. Excellent summaries of each book of Bible as well as main characters and their life summary/main accomplishments, relatives/ancestors. LASB has also included breakdowns of the most useful and well known stories and verses of the Bible for the reader to gain deeper knowledge. It is amazing!! We currently have 7 bibles for kids 9-12 and this is BY FAR the BEST!! I would buy one for all of my son’s friends if I could!! Many blessings to you and yours!

I bought this for my husband. He says it really helps him put things into context (which is soooo important when reading the Bible). I would say this is good for boys 8-13 maybe. It could benefit a boy younger than what they recommend I think. Now yes my husband is much older than 13 🤣 however he is brand new to Christianity (the birth of our daughter turned his eyes to the Lord!) and I felt this could really give him more info and put things into better perspective than I could! Flipping through and reading the notes, I can safely say for all of you historic Christians, this is a good buy! I bought the girls version for our daughter who is much to young for the book, however, when she is ready, it will be gifted to her. I just think these Bibles are so worth the money, full of such helpful information! We plan to hand this down to our son if God blesses us with a boy next.

I wish I had a Bible like this as a kid! I was able to get one as a gift to one of the boys at my church. His eyes nearly fell out of their sockets when he saw it! Has the awesome condensed life application study notes along with maps and other cool pages throughout.
