エレキもアコギも様々な弦をいまだに試していますが、コーティング弦でElixirをこえる弦はまだ無いですね！ 音質には多少の癖がありますが、この癖というか音の個性が合えば他の弦にする気にはなれません。音質は私見ですが 明るくブライトな音色だと思います。この音色の寿命が他のコーティング弦よりも圧倒的に長く素晴らしいです。 弦の張りたてのギラつく音が嫌いな方は合いません。 防錆や音色の高寿命はトップクラスですが弦切れは普通の弦と同じように切れます。 最後に輸入弦の為 最近価格が高騰し過ぎでコ・ス・パが疑問です。

３弦が不良品でテンションかけるや否や伸びて外れてしまい、使えなかった。 運が悪かったと諦めました。残念。 素直にお店で再購入しました。

錆びない！

流石にELIXIRです価格は高いですが、音色・音質共に30年使用しているMorrisが生き返りました。 コーティングがしてあり他の弦より長く使えそうです。 また購入いたします。

Put it on any guitar and I guarantee, your guitar will sound way better than you could ever imagine it could. It produces a sweet sound with increased ease of playability. Good low with perect balance of mids and highs. But, the delivery time(a month!) to India is almost a deal breaker. The price is very high, though it might not be an issue if you are up to it. Be very careful with the thickness of the plectrum you'll be using as the first string is a bit fragile. I won't recommend anything higher than 0.72 mm thinkness for strumming.

Been playing these for a few months now and they're holding up well. The phosphor bronze gives a warm, balanced tone that suits a range of styles. The coating is the main reason I keep coming back to Elixir as it keeps them sounding fresh well past when uncoated strings would start to go dull. Tuning stability is solid too. Good all-round string for acoustic players who want longevity without sacrificing too much tone.
