Now that’s what I’m talking about.
I have been using the low end version of impact heads my whole life and didn’t know it. This is a big upgrade. Much better coverage and adjustability. Only issue is the needle diffuser is hard to adjust. Have your 1/4” nut driver handy for this. If you don’t have good water pressure, it may “stick” for a few seconds when it hits the reverse tabs. This might resolve after more use.

Built like a tank... WOW!
When you receive this Rain Bird, you can't help but be impressed. It's solid, heavy, and totally durable. The 3/4" supply line size will provide a good amount of water, and my first tests show a good 45' - 50' spray pattern. (My pump was working at about 45 psi.)It only takes a minute to adjust the area of the circle (or full 360 degrees) desired, and to set the spray distance. You will NOT confuse this with the cheaper, smaller, plastic & resin items at the local home supply store. This isn't cheap, but you're getting what you pay for.

Good sprinkler for low pressure and distance
I have gotten several of these because my field is fed from a well with the water tank up a hill - so I get just the pressure the hill provides which is about 32 psi. That isn't a lot. But with these, you can still get good distance of about 45 foot radius to cover a large area without as many sprinklers. These heads are all metal construction and few parts to fail. That is good because my cows are curious and sometimes knock the sprinklers over. You can adjust them for full circle or just about and portion below that. There is screw to disrupt the stream to shorten the distance and get more water close, if that is needed. They do have an interchangeable nozzle, but not sure if you could find the parts to change them - if so, that would make them even more versatile.

Just can't beat the time tested design of these sprinklers
Top quality product which has worked flawlessly since I got it. I do want to clarify that the photo of the item is that of the 25 model and not 35. The 35 model has a rounded "spoon" style pivoting mechanism vs the square top, bottom, sides style seen in the photo. Other than that the OEM plastic bag wrapper for the item was dirty, little tattered, and some areas of the printing were worn away even though the bag hadn't been opened. Copyright date on the bag was 2007 so I'm guessing the item may have been in a bin for some time; but I've usually found older products to have been better made than newer ones. One other note: I also have some of the plastic construction impact sprinklers from Rainbird and thought it was odd they seemed to work really fast. This model and the 25 version are the slower operating ones you often see used in orchards and vineyards. Evidently the plastic versions, with their lighter mass, just react a lot faster. So, if you like the slow, very pleasing, lazy day sound you'll want the metal impact sprinklers. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to buy another one of these.

A well designed impact. 5 stars for the smoothness and summer sound of this impact.
Super easy to adjust, quick and reliable. Great coverage in close as well as far out. I build my sprinkler stands and these are the heads I use. This 3/4" head just lasts a lot longer than the 1/2" heads and the slower moving impact has the classic summer sound. Perfect for dirty water uses such as raw water from a ditch or canal. Nozzle is 3/16". There are replaceable nozzles to increase or decrease GPM. I did remove the stock stainless steel screw that interrupts the stream so it does not spray as far with one that has a larger head that you can easily turn. That screw is available here at Amazon it is a 6/32 1" long stainless steel. I used my wire stripper/thread cutter to make it about 3/4" long.

High quality sprinkler
This is a very sturdy and high quality sprinkler. I wish there was also a height adjustment but not a deal breaker. Just beware it has a 3/4" connection, it wouldn't readily work with a common 1/2" spike base such as Orbit 58197N. A quick trip to Lowes to get a 3/4 to 1/2 brass fitting adapter solved the problem.

Unit defective. replacement process?
I'm hoping for a response from the Amazon Rainbird Store. I purchased 2 of these larger 3/4" 35ADJTNTB sprinklers June 19 2023. When I installed them neither would "return" on the counter-clockwise rotation. I thought this might be due to inadequate flow volumn and decided to keep one unit set to just 360 rotate and exchanged the other. The replacement was done promptly and it works great hence 3 stars and puts out a high volume of water and is a solid sprinkler. I have since discovered that I have very good volume (@ 10 gpm) on the dedicated line used for the sprinkler but have also re-designed my watering system so that I need use only 90 degrees instead of 360 and need run the sprinkler for much shorter time. Anyway I would now like to exchange this sprinkler less than 1 year old and used maybe 25 times for one that properly returns. Wish I'd done it back in 2023. According to the actual Rainbird .Store Customer Service the sprinkler is under warrantee but since it is considered an agricultural product they didn't have any units to exchange. How can I get the attention of the Rainbird Store on Amazon to get this unit replaced? Retrospectively it seems like both units were defective. This also leads me to be hesitant to order from the rainbird store on Amazon. Hope you can help me out here.

Wonderful
Works exactly as described.

Top quality
Runs slow rhythm so it won't wear out as fast. More of a large space sprinkler. Really gushes the volume w/ 3/16" orifice so my well pump doesn't cycle on and off all the time. Great for acreage.

Built to last forever probably.
I felt like I was going back to the Stone Age (in a good way) with this sprinkler. It’s big. It’s bulky. The whole thing is heavy metal and mechanical. No fancy nothing here… just a solid metal impulse sprinkler.I fitted this into a PVC base I made with components I had laying around. My regular hose was sufficient to power it correctly. My hose reel with quick connect was too weak to effectively power this.My only gripe is the distance adjustment is not great. The screw that intercepts the water to decrease the range doesn’t have much of an end to it to turn, nor does it have some sort of pattern for a screwdriver. It also bends easily and will disrupt the functionality of the unit if tightened too much.
