SLATE Milk, with 42 grams of protein, is SO convenient and it tastes good too! Their Latte's are also good, with 20 grams of protein and 2 cups of coffee worth of caffeine to help get you going. Both the vanilla and sweet cream are my favorites of the coffees, and both the chocolate like the mocha too (better than most chocolate flavored protein things) EVERYONE likes the chocolate and the vanilla flavored Protein shakes, and it's not just convenient but essential for sime in my family to get their minimum protein intake. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, but they do use real MONK FRUIT to sweeten it, which isn't cheap. They do also use stevia, but it's not bad; I think the monk fruit helps, so they don't have to use as much stevia, which can have a less pleasant taste. For the price, I's think they could use ALL MONK FRUIT though, wouldn't that be nice? Would make it worth the price! A couple of cans were dented in my last shipment, but the product was okay.

Not sure what other people are saying about it being clumpy, etc. I've had zero issues and they taste great! It's the best protein per calories option out there, can't beat 42g protein for only 190 calories. Will definitely be ordering more again very soon as I'm getting low on my supply. I've lost close to 10 lbs in the last 3 weeks while retaining/building muscle and it's a huge part in helping me hit my daily protein intake.

I have been on the hunt for a cheaper alternative to the core power elite drinks by Fairlife without sacrificing protein content. Fairlife has become too expensive for me to justify continuing spending the money on them and I came across these drinks by Slate! I have to admit whenever I began to taste the product it wasn't what I was expecting. The consistency is a little odd to me - it is advertised as a milkshake, but to me it actually tastes and feels like you are drinking thinned out pudding that hasn't set properly. I found the taste to be okay at first, but then it was immediately followed up with a strong artificial sweetener taste not long after I took a sip which I don't like. Not chalky though! That said, this is just my opinion and I think if the consistency was different I wouldn't mind as much. Back to the drawing board, nothing has beat core power in terms of taste, protein content and consistency for me. Pros: 42g of protein, cleaner ingredients, metal can so no microplastics, cheaper in price than Fairlife, zero added augar Cons: odd pudding-like consistency, lingering artificial aftertaste

I have been drinking the Slate brand for awhile, best tasting for sure, I like they came out with this 42g protein one, and only 1g of sugar makes it even better. The taste is great, of course wish it was less expensive but at $4 a can is much cheaper than a meal if you look at it that way.

I really want to like and support this drink so bad because the macros are absolutely insane. I also like the taste a lot. They have a bit of quality issues, maybe with this drink/flavor specifically. The milk tends to coagulate, leading to there being large clumps/chunks in the drink. This is why they tell you to shake the can. I find you have to REALLY shake the can, and I normally turn the can upside-down while shaking to help. Shaking rigorously though leads to a lot of pressure build up in the can, which is why they tell you to open the can very slowly. I have seen videos online of people not shaking the can at all and pouring out MASSIVE chunks. I find that even after shaking the can thoroughly, I still get small little chunks in my drink and it really turns me off to the drink in whole. Again I really like the flavor and the macros are excellent, but Slate really needs to get the quality control in order.
