Hagood has written another instant masterpiece on South Mantis Kung Fu. This book is an instant collectors item as many of the masters of South Mantis featured in this volume are sadly no longer on this mortal plane. Shifu Wong Yu Hua gathered a collection of the elder masters of South Mantis from many different schools/pai. Mr. Hagood was there listening and learning and documenting all that they had to say about the concepts, as well as the standard of South Mantis. The photos alone of the elders performing and commenting are worth the price of the book ten times over. Sadly many of these teachers are no longer with us. Much has been lost but Mr. Hagood is still documenting and preserving the knowledge so that future generations can see from hence the river flows. You will read about Chu/Chow Gar as well as Iron Ox and Kwongsai Mantis as taught by Lao Sui, Wong Yuk Gong and other teachers as well as insights into Lum Sang and his first generational teachings as compared to his last generation. Many concepts are shared and commented on by the elders of South Mantis, many of whom trained with Lao Sui and Wong Yuk Gong. I for one, am extremely happy that Mr. Hagood has published another information packed tome helping to preserve the standard of South Mantis as without the standard, Mantis will wither and become something else. Do not hesitate and add this book to your South Mantis collection. Books on South Mantis are like legs on snakes, very rare.

simple livre
