EDIT: after posting this review, the company reached out to me and helped me get this sorted out. Really appreciate their service. This really is a great water fountain, I like that it’s stainless steel and the capacity is great. I felt like it was a great price and liked the “flower” shaped water diffuser. Being able to dishwash it is a game changer coming from our older plastic one. My 1 star review is because I had an issue with a piece of the fountain (admittedly user error) and reached out to support over a week ago through their website and through direct email and have received zero response/support. The piece is directly affecting water flow so I’d like to get it fixed but support has yet to reach out.

This Vekken water fountain was to replace another brand. The other brand began to rust on the interior, needed to get away from that. The Vekken has a quiet pump with a water flow that is pleasing to our cat. The Vekken holds plenty of water and is easy to clean as well as replace the filters. We have a vet tech in the family and they highly approved of this choice for a water fountain for our cat. The Vekken is also very pleasing to look at, the color and shape are well done. I like that it is plug in, no worry about batteries needed recharged.

The stainless steel design is not only sleek and modern, but it also feels much more hygienic and durable than plastic fountains. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t hold odors, which is a huge plus. My cats started drinking from it immediately, and I’ve definitely noticed them drinking more water throughout the day. The flowing water keeps it fresh and encourages hydration, which gives me peace of mind about her overall health. I also appreciate how quiet it is — you can barely hear it running. The filtration system works great, keeping the water clean and clear. Setup was simple, and maintenance has been straightforward. Great fountain. Very quiet and easy to clean. I had the plastic version for years and it just got gross and hard to clean. The only downfall to this one is it doesn’t have the little wall to hold the pump in place like the plastic one so the pump sometimes seems to slide all over. Other than that its a great fountain and my dogs & cats love it.

Excellent fountain. My cat was not drinking from her old plastic fountain even though I changed the filters and cleaned it 3x week. With this new Veken fountain she is drinking more, (more output of urine and better stools). The fountain is easy to assemble and clean. It really filters out bits of food and hair. My cousin just ordered one too. I do change the water 1x per week and clean the parts. It is very quiet. I like that you can turn off the light and the fountain before unplugging. My cat loves it. I have seen more expensive fountains out there. This is a good deal for the quality. It functions and does what it promises. It delivers clean filtered water for my fussy cat. I highly recommend.

I've gone through a couple water fountains with my cat, and this one is the best I've tried. The biggest plus: minimal plastic pieces. I've found that fountains with plastic pieces get nasty real quick, no matter how often you clean them and replace the filters. This fountain also has pieces that are very easy to take apart and clean thoroughly, which in turn helps keeps the water fresh and clean. The noise level is very low and ignorable (to me, at least). I also like that you can turn the light off. I already have enough lights in my room at night, so I didn't need the fountain to have one too. But the light is handy when I'm trying to check the water level, so it's nice to be able to just click it on real quick. My cat also loves it, which is the most important thing! Cats notoriously don't hydrate as much as they should, but I'll see my girl slurping away at the fountain. I'm sure it's helping her stay nice and hydrated!

I set this up the same day it was delivered. I’ve only owned it for one day so far, but the first impression has been very positive. I’ve had other fountains before, but they were plastic and caused issues for my sensitive cats. This model is completely stainless steel, which was the main reason I chose it. It feels cleaner and more suitable for cats with sensitivities. We live in an area with hard city water, so we give our cats bottled water. The tank is massive and holds about six bottles at a time, which works perfectly for our setup. I also really appreciate the softly lit blue window on the front that allows you to easily see the water level without opening it. The only sound I hear is the gentle trickling of water — no motor hum or buzzing. I washed it before using it, and cleaning was extremely simple. There are no hard-to-reach areas, and the design comes apart easily. The biggest test for me was my most particular cats — the ones who usually avoid machines completely. They have all been using this nonstop today. That alone tells me this was a worthy purchase. Very happy with it so far.

I’m really impressed with this pet water filter. It’s so easy to clean, which makes a huge difference when you’re washing it regularly. I myself love everything about this fountain , but my cats won’t use it . I have 5 cats and none of them like it . I’m so disappointed! It’s easy to install and to clean. I love that you can turn the light off if you want. It’s nice and quiet . All I hear is the trickle of water. I’m giving it 5 stars because I think it’s a great fountain. I’m sad that I’ll have to return it. I’ve tried putting it in different spots , and it’s in a low traffic , quiet area.
