Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover Gel for Paint, Glass, and Metal - Mineral and Water Spot Remover for Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, RVs & More - 16 oz

Recently bought a new Jeep that was on dealer's lot for about a month during all the snow here in the northeast. Snow had set on it for several days and the dealer had "washed" it a couple times . Had a ton of water spots / calcium deposits even after a proper wash and wax. Decided to give this stuff a try. Amazing results. Removed all the spots and deposits. Make sure you rinse it within a minute or so after application to avoid leaving product on paint. Highly recommend.

I bought this to try and deal with the water deposits and soap scum on the glass doors of a shower. Worked really well, but there is a small process. I used a scrub daddy with water and the gel to initially wash the glass. I didn’t have to press very hard with the scrub daddy. Then I let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. I used the scrub daddy to rinse it off, then apply in a second coating and let that sit for 10 to 15 minutes. If you look at the pictures I’ve attached you can see significant difference. It’s not perfect. It didn’t get rid of 100% more like 80% of the water deposits and soap scum. But it was easy and not a lot of effort.

I'm frankly surprised this stuff works as well as it does. It took a good deal of elbow grease, but I'm taking it a few square feet at a time. Eventually, I was able to completely remove the hard water spots and embedded dirt from parking next to the sprinklers for a few months. I do suggest being careful to not leave it on for too long (and neutralize it with soapy wooder.) I also noticed some very light orange stains that I eventually removed with some sanitizing wipes. Still, it's infinitely better than it was, and worked equally well on the car's paint, hubcaps, and windows/mirrors. I think I'm be able to finish the one side of the car that has the spots with a single bottle, but I'd but this product again if we're stupid enough to park by the sprinklers again. (Attached pictures show the type of water spots and dirt I was dealing with, a partially cleaned door, small section of cleaned hubcap, and a fully cleaned door. I've obviously got a lot more work to do, but I don't think it'd be possible without a product like this.)

This review is 100% my honest opinion and experience. Now that I've used this product, my opinion is that this is an absolutely horrible product! Looking back... all those 5 Star reviews that swayed me to make this purchase seem very hard to believe. Removes hard water spots? Not even close. Description says "Use it at home on showers, glass, faucets, and more." THIS PRODUCT MADE THE HARD WATER SPOTS MORE VISIBLE, AND CREATED SPLOTCHY CLOUDS ALL OVER THE GLASS. The spots and clouds were not readily visible until the glass had completely dried. The spots and clouds are barely visible looking at the glass straight on, but can be easily seen at an angle. After using this product, I spent 4-5 hours trying to get the spots and clouds off of my shower glass. Now I think my 2 year old shower glass may be ruined. I have never bought ANY other product in my entire life that has done more damage than this one has. Sure this review may sound like a rant, but I'm quite angry. And if you're wondering... I followed the directions perfectly. PLEASE, TAKE THIS REVIEW SERIOUSLY. ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT RECOMMENDED! BUYER BEWARE! Update: I contacted the manufacturer, and they sent some glass polish and a hand pad (sponge) stating "Cloudiness after use of the Water Spot Remover per your claim usually derives from the product being left on the surface too long before neutralizing. To restore the clarity, we use a light cutting polish.." - No where on the label does it mention how the length of time the product should remain on the glass! The manufacturer also stated "The CG Water Spot Remover is very effective, but it does not remove all water spot types (as alluded to on the label). - The only thing the label alludes to is this product is a "WATER SPOT REMOVER." It is clear the manufacturer is trying to make excuses for a harmful product with poorly written directions. This product made the water spots on my shower glass look much, much worse, period! The water spots were barely visible before using this product, because the shower glass is squeeged after every use, and cleaned regularly. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AVOID THIS PRODUCT!

This is a really solid product. My 20 year old truck had some really nasty water spots on the glass, that other water spot removers were unable to get rid of completely. This did a fantastic job on the first pass. Don't waste your time or money with other products. The ONLY reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it does leave some very hard water spots behind, but they are difficult to see unless the light hits them just right. My guess is they are etched in and would require more aggressive buffing to remove. Best money spent on a product like this yet.

This stuff works! I had to write a review for this one…saved me $500 that I was quoted from detailer telling me that I needed clay bar and polish done to take off water stains from sprinklers. The stains didn’t feel rough to the touch so reading about this product I took a chance it could work and the results speak for themselves. 3 easy steps, apply and wipe using applicator detailing spong (recommend); spray some clean filtered water; wipe down with detailing cloth…instant satisfaction. Works on glass, trim and body!

I put this on the windows in my 2012 Avalanche and buffed it out with a low speed buffer and in minutes the glass looked brand new. It’s even good on chrome as well. No more water spots on 14 year old windows! Great product

Montero 2006, vidrios descuidados por más de 10 años. Este producto en conjunto con unas fibras de "steel wool 0000" hizo maravillas. La primera foto , la parte izquierda no esta tratada, la derecha si. La segunda foto es el resultado. Me tomo 3 pasadas con el gel y lo termine con la fibra 0000. Hay que aplicar tantita fuerza con el gel. La primera pasada te puede asustar ya que queda el vidrio como todo manchado, solo hay que seguir aplicando hasta que se desaparezca. (HAZ UNA PRUEBA 1ro EN UN LUGAR PEQUEñO). Si estas en un lugar que no esta al aire libre, usa mascarilla, porque al aire libre alcanzaba a oler. A+++++++++++

My car developed a lot of water spots after being parked under a building—likely from a chiller or drainage line. I washed the car immediately, and while most spots came off, many were still clearly visible on my black paint. While searching for a proper solution, I came across this product and decided to order it. It worked perfectly. It removed the remaining water spots effortlessly and restored the finish. Highly recommended if you’re dealing with stubborn spots that regular washing can’t fix

It didnt remove the water spots

My car had some calcium deposits on the bonnet and fender caused by a water leak from a concrete ceiling. This product removed these without any fuss. I like the way it works because the meguiars alternative was more of a polish and I wanted to use the least aggressive method possible. The CG product is exactly that, the least aggressive way to remove hard water stains.
