Bought this so my watch would still record my steps when I’m working at my desk. It’s comfortable but took a minute to get used to since I don’t typically wear a watch on my ankle. Not that this part matters for me, but keep in mind the watch will lock when it’s on your ankle and if you want to record a “workout” it’ll pause once it locks. Still records your steps, but won’t recognize it as a workout. It feels well made and like it’ll last, but I’ve only had it for a few weeks now. Very easy to switch the bands, recommend putting it on before shoes since it might not fit over depending on the thickness of your shoes.

When I started using a walking treadmill and desk combo in my office, my Apple Watch was way off on step count, and I'm probably too neurotic about tracking it, but I did a quick Amazon search and came across this for cheap and gave it a try. It works very well with my Apple Watch. It's easy to attach to the watch face and easy to adjust on my ankle. I have not experienced any irritation, and I've been using it for months and that material has been proven to be durable. Sure, it might look like an ankle monitor, but I'm only wearing it my office for limited amounts of time per day, so I'd say it does exactly what it advertises to do and does it well.

I have always worn my Apple Watch on my arm with a lot of the earlier band iterations being bulky or having a tendency to move out of place. This was the first armband I tried that worked just like a wristband. Actually when I am out on the trail or working out I tend to use it on my wrist and put it back on my arm to make room for my regular wrist watch when I dress up. The Velcro makes it easy to adjust from arm to wrist or leg if you are so inclined. The band itself is of good quality and the Velcro adheres strongly although I think that the opportunity to adhere across a larger surface might be better. The only downside is that the hook side of the band just broke, it’s been a couple of months at best. Hopefully future iterations will have the hook be stronger and able to endure the constant buckling and unbuckling. I highly recommend to other arm bandits out there.
