Minuteman Rocket Stove

This is metal and will rust if left touching dirt out in an off grid bug out stash. Gather your bundle of sticks and twigs for the chimney and 3-5 thumb sized branches for your main fuel. I use flint and steel as well as Vaseline and cotton balls to start the fire, can take two or three to get the twigs burning. When the heat is activated you can hear the rocket effect of it pulling air from the lower side up out the chimney. I have been able to cook eggs, salmon, and rodent using this as Stansport Non-Seasoned Cast Iron Dutch Oven.The stove does require attention and will go out. It is more difficult when the sticks and branches have been wet from a storm. Candle wax also helps as an accellerent.

wish I had never bought it. waste of money. Made my own rocket stove out of bricks i had laying around. works much much better.

Everything works as advertised and it's sturdy. I recommend it if that's what you need.

NIce to have. Could really save you. At the very least, it provides a hot meal or hot cup of coffee while camping.
