Performed as advertised.
I used this product to patch a 5 square foot deamination between the plaster and gunite before I painted my pool. Itโs only been a a month but looks good and was easy to use. The only thing I would do differently would be to use all the mix to ensure you have enough product to properly smooth out

Excellent pool Patch
This stuff worked great. I drained the pool mixed per instructions. I did buy a weight scale at Walmart to measure the powder and use a tablespoon measuring spoon to mix per the instructions. After reading some of the reviews I was Leary of the finish. It was like plaster not rough at all like some of the reviews said. I painted over it with Acrylic paint after it dried and it look and works great.

Works well if mixed correctly
This works really well for patching a cement inground pool. No problems mixing it if you use a small food scale for the weight of the powder mix, and get a medicine syringe to measure additive correctly (10ml 3x). I took a point off because it states โno fuss mixingโ, not true because you need measuring tools in order to get the mixture right. Someone recommended acid washing the pool first, we did, and it adhered well.

Pool patching is harder than it looks
The product could improve the directions for how to mix it and maybe provide a link to a youtube video. It's not like regular plaster. It has granules in it that don't dissolve. I didn't understand that at first and had a difficult time adhering my first batch (granted, I was working on the rounded edges of the steps leading into the pool). I was using too much at a time, so it was lumping. The consistency has to be a bit like bread dough - not runny. When it dries - it will smooth out - especially once you use a wet sponge to sort of sand it and smooth it. I found some videos on-line that explained the more challenging aspects, but they weren't high quality so the detail of the work was difficult to see. After some trial and error - I got the hang of it. Attached see the three photos. My pool had a lot of dings in the original plaster - some so large they went into the cement bottom and the edges of the steps leading down into the shallow end were completely worn. It took a week for me to do it because of the heat. I had to get up around 6 am to work until 10. I couldn't handle more than that. I let the plaster dry for about 2 days before starting to paint but that's because we had a lot of rain. I think under normal circumstances, 24 hours would be sufficient. The photos show the before, during and after - it's a 15k pool if interested.

Great product
Pool has cracks in the plaster. This was easy to mix and use. Pool is repaired and not leaking.

Use waterproofing mortar to patch bad plaster and use pool epoxy paint to seal over pool.
Cracked after drying. Had to remove it and use a different product. This might be good for very small 2"x2" spot patch but would not recommend anything bigger. In my situation I have a plaster pool and I needed a product to patch the bad plater. I found a product called "waterproofing mortar" and is sold for $30 for 50lb bag. I used this to patch my hols and after used a pool epoxy paint to seal all of the pool. Worked great and saved alot of money.... buying this pool patch was the only wasted money on the project.

availibility
I allowed three days of curing time but once I filled the pool back and added chemicals it did not hold up in many spots.
