Great Upgrade and Worth the Money.
The SSD was a huge improvement over the default one came in the laptop, mine had a WD SN530 512GB, I got this one and the performance is really good, I can run around 7-8 VMs concurrently with heavy load in VMware Workstation Pro without the SSD bottlenecking and affecting performance. Definitely worth the price. If using a nvme enclosure and are getting a counterfeit warning, just check the serial number, if that matches it's genuine one. It will be flagged as genuine once you swap the internal SSD for this one. And the cloning is really good as well, do not panic at 99%, it takes around 20-30 minutes for that 99-100%, and the overall cloning via the Samsung magician will depend on how much actual storage has to be cloned.

Really good., Single Sided
Really good drive. In my external enclosure it outperforms Kingston Fury Renegade 4 TB SSD in RW speed. Impressive. P. S. It's a Single sided SSD which is very suitable for Laptops.

Samsung SSD 990 Evo Plus
Works as advertised and the speed on the Mac mini M4 is good. I have housed this in a Pibox enclosure on which is gives a speed of about 900mbps. Native speed goes to 2800mbps in a proper 40GB enclosure like the Acasisi.

BEWARE - FRAUD. DO NOT BUY
*FRAUD FAKE PRODUCT. BUYERS BEWARE* This is a fake product. The outer box is perfect. But, the product seal has been carefully tampered to replace the SSD inside the box. Happened to me with the original purchase, and repeated the same fake product even in the replacement delivery. Purchased product: Samsung 990 EVO *Plus* 1TB Sticker on product delivered: Samsung 990 EVO 1TB (note the missing Plus) Actual product: Some generic fake 128 GB SSD (note the product photos with red circle marks) When I searched online for unboxing videos from tech-reviewers, I noticed a clear deviation from official SSD product. The front sticker should have clearly labelled 990 EVO Plus. Further the back-side should have had clear Samsung branding + global certification details.

Blazing fast!
I was a little sceptical between this and 990 PRO but then I went for this one as I have a laptop, require a secodary storage and the PRO runs little bit hot and needs heatsink and to my surprise, I was not disappointed. Its blazing fast, running under 50 degree C for daily tasks. You can go for the PRO one with heatsink if you have a standing CPU.
