claro Alpine Salt

Right, who honestly believes that the type of dishwasher salt you use will make a difference in the performance of your dishwasher? It's impossible to differentiate. It's like filling your car with petrol. You fill it up, it goes, doesn't matter if you fill up at Tescos or BP, only those selling it and the seriously deluded will tell you that it's different (it all comes from the same refinery after all). So what's good about this product: 1) packaging, snip the top, squeeze it, turn it over and pour into the hole where it goes. Who wants to be mucking around in a full dishwasher (and it is always full when the light comes on isn't it) with a pair of scissors, a floppy plastic bag and a funnel, at nearly floor level. 2) The amount, yes, it may be cheaper (marginally, I haven't checked this) to buy a 3 Kg bag in your local supermarket but how much do you waste when you fill the funnel for the third time and it spills out of the hole and onto the floor of the dishwasher because you haven't judged it just right? This way your dishwasher asks for 1 Kg it gets 1 Kg, no waste. Worth it in my view. I will be buying these again.

Far easier to use and store than salt in plasic wrap.

The shape of package is genius - makes emptying into salt container in dishwasher easy.

Bought this 5 pack almost a year ago and have only used two of the boxes over that time span. Would definitely recommend these if you want to buy in bulk as they last a very long time and are great value for money.

CLARO dishwasher salt is beautifully packaged, with an easy funnel which is part of the package so it’s easy to use. Box is easy to recycle and it leaves the dishes sparkling.

We ordered these because for some reason all our local stores are having difficulty in getting hold of DW salt.The cardboard package that also acts as the loading funnel is a fantastic idea. Less single use plastic is always a winner for me.They are also the perfect size to dispense the exact amount to fill the salt reservoir without spillage or waist.Highly recommend

I like this dishwasher salt - cardboard packaging means not adding plastic to the environment. Design of pack makes it easy to pour into the salt compartment of the dishwasher. Only disappointment was that it came very over-packaged with polystyrene chips in the box which goes against the green credentials and I felt it was unnecessary. (hence the 3 stars for presentation.)
