THIS WAS A PERFECT TOY FOR MY DAUGHTER'S COCKAPOO. HE IS ABSOLUTELY FASCINATED BY IT AND PLAYS WITH IT FOR AGES. I JUST HOPE THE BATTERY HOLDS OUT FOR A GOOD TIME. I WOULD CERTAINLY BUY ANOTHER - IN FACT I PROBABLY WILL GET ONE AS A 'STANDBY'!

Arrived now. Taken out if packaging, removed tag and nothing. No noise. And bits if it falling off.

Bought this for my yorkie puppy as she loves interactive toys, very sensitive and fun toy to play with, however after about a month of use (not continuous) the sound has gone

My cat favourite! She always brings them up at night. Nice furry toys with sound! I even got a second one for her!

1 of my 3 cats loves this noisy toy hedgehog. It is loud. I bought this just over 2 years ago and it’s still fine, well it was until my cat put it in her water dish! He may dry out yet. Bought the cricket but she didn’t like it half as much. When I bought them they were both £4.99 each! A day later and the hedgehog dried out and makes its noise again!

The hedgehog is really well-made, durable, the sensitivity of the noise is good. However it's a bit too big for my cat to be happy with it, I'd expected it to be about half the size. Hence the middle rating. If your cat isn't a chicken like mine and will enjoy a toy about the size of a large palm, it'll be perfect.

My dog loves cat's toys, I got the bird , the mouse and the hedgehog. I really recommend it ! She normally destroys any toys but she is pretty gentle with these ones.

This is my cats number one toy and over the years he has had about 10 - after a few months the squeak goes and it joins its silent friends. This one unfortunately had no sound at all from day one when the plastic tag was removed - so cute, he will use it but no noise - can’t be bothered to send back.

EDIT: Maus geht auf einmal doch. Igel war schon im Karton am Geräusche machen, die Maus war eingepackt, doch nach ziehen der Lasche macht sie keine Geräusche. Wollte es austauschen lassen, wird aber von Amazon nur eine Rücksendung angeboten. Nochmal kaufe ich es nicht.

the squeeks sound like a tiny madman cackling - the cats love it and the tinny insane laughter is amusing. If you don't want a toy that makes noise, avoid this one, because it's the nosiest toy for a cat I've ever heard!

The toy gives no melody. Cannot return. Wasted money
