Excellent replacement
I like Rainbird irrigation products. Easy to install and works perfectly. The original was 17 years old and was still working but the joint at the socket was leaking- can’t beat that for longevity.

cheap replacement parts for solenoid and diaphragm.
Replaced some an old one and it worked perfect. I just used the top part with the diaphragm and solenoid so I didn't care about the 3/4 vs 1 inch.

I Use These on All 9 of My Irrigation Zones
I have a 9-zone irrigation system and use these Rain Bird valves on every zone. They've been very reliable and have worked well enough that I've continued using the same valve throughout the entire system.They're straightforward to install, operate reliably, and shut the water off completely when the zone finishes. The 1-inch threaded connections also make installation or replacement easy without having to glue the valve directly into the plumbing.With nine of these in service, I've had plenty of experience with them and have been very happy with their performance. They're simple, dependable irrigation valves that do exactly what they're supposed to do. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They did exactly what they should and were easy to install.
I had to change up my sprinkler box, and put new valves in. These worked very well and made the whole process easy to switch up. They worked exactly as they should, and were easy to install.

Good product but I took off a star because I had to replace a fairly new one.
This was a replacement for another device that was having problems leaking from the screw valve on top. I'm sure I could've gotten replacement parts, but a new one seemed cheaper than trying to troubleshoot another one. In the end, the swap out was easy and I kept the other one because maybe I will do that troubleshooting now that I have some parts.I don't know if this is any better than Orbit or Hunter and I'd love to see somebody do a real comparison.I also wished I'd make better cable management options. Maybe something with a connector instead of all this wire.
