After nearly three decades, eleven albums, and thousands of shows worldwide, Skillet play louder, fight harder, and sound more rebellious than ever. As of 2024, the band have received two-time GRAMMYยฎ Award nominations, picked up a Billboard Music Award, and landed three albums in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200. Selling over 22 million units worldwide, they have notched multiplatinum, platinum, or gold RIAA certifications for a total of 12 singles and four full-length albums. Not to mention, they have regularly attracted 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify, boasting "one of the most-streamed rock songs of all-time" with the 5x-platinum "Monster." Their presence has impressively surged throughout popular culture with syncs by WWE, Marvel, ESPN, and NFL in addition to coverage from USA Today, The New York Times, and more. As a live force of nature, they have touched down on four continents and in 26 countries, packing arenas everywhere from the Middle East to Russia. Not to mention, Skillet expanded their world with the graphic novel series EDEN. The first installment stood out as Z2 Comics' best-selling book of all-time. Now, the global hard rock quartet-John Cooper [lead vocals, bass], Korey Cooper [guitar, keys], Jen Ledger [drums, vocals], and Seth Morrison [lead guitar]-deliver an insurgent, infectious, and inimitable body of work with their twelfth full-length offering and first-ever independent album, Revolution, led by the single "Unpopular." Review: Excellent Album that I can listen to over and over - I can see some of the reviewers points and though there may not be tons or originality, I appreciate the passion and sound. If you like Skillet, this album is pure Skillet. If you want a band to try out new things, this album may not scratch your itch. I really appreciated every song and the message contained within. I also appreciate Skillet knows what they are good at and rocked their gifts. Too many bands take a left (or right no imagery intended) turn to try something new and it stinks. I miss old Switchfoot. Great job Skillet!! Review: Cd - Great band

Best album in years.
Been a skillet fan for close to 20 years, and this is probably their best work since Collide and Comatose album-wise. Awake was a good album as a whole, but this album song for song killed it. It was a great return to form, not that skillet has gotten worse, but this is simply an album where the band was able to do whatever they wanted, and they know what the fans like. I absolutely loved this album. Only bummer is their shirts/album bundle was sold out, and now I gotta wait to rep my favorite skillet album in the past decade.

Excellent music from an excellent Christian band -- SKILLET ROCKS AGAIN!!!
Still very loud and very proud of Jesus, Skillet blasts out again with another choice set of rebellious songs for Christ in an increasingly secular and depraved world. Make no mistake: this band can still rock out with the very best of 'em. If you're looking for "mellowed with age" stuff, look elsewhere. There is one "middle of the road" tune (on the "Hard-Rock-to-Dead-Mellow scale), however; the 2nd from last cut on the CD, "Happy Wedding Day", is an extremely personal ballad written exclusively by John L. Cooper himself (he has said ballads are his favorite kind of song). As for the rest, it's completely "Rock On for Jesus, family, and freedom" music of the highest caliber and volume. They've done it again! So crank up the sound system & amplify this set to the highest level you've got, and simply rock out with Skillet. 5 stars

Best band ever
I absolutely love this album. Skillet is the best rock Christian band I have ever listened to. I am missing a few of their earlier albums but this one is the best. My absolute favorite song is All that matters. It is very powerful to me. Anytime I am having a bad day or overwhelmed I put this song on and it helps.

I have to be honest, as a long time Skillet fan, I was apprehensive about this release. The songs they released early didn't do that much for me. However, my fears were soon to put to rest after just one listen of 'Revolution'. They have amped up the heaviness, the energy and 'catchiness' somehow. The album rockets out of the gate with 'Showtime' and doesn't really edge downhill at all. A solid listen from start to finish. I know some Skillet fans bemoan the fact that nothing they've done will ever top 'Comatose' but I think that misses the point of being productive as a band. They are consistent and clearly have more in the tank.
