Christmas Brass

I had gone about 5 years without having this CD as a part of of our Christmas music.Now that I finally have another copy once again Christmas sounds complete. The Dallas Brass are the epitomy of what a beautifully voiced brass choir, playing wonderful arrangements should sound like.

A great recording by the Dallas Brass. The sheet music for all the selections is also available. If you perform in a brass quintet, I strongly recommend the additional purchase.

I've grown up listening to this album at Christmas and because it was on tape I hadn't heard it for several years. Recently someone gave me a digital copy and I fell in love with it all over again. The Christmas carols are played with style and verve. Every note sounds clean, which I would notice having played the trumpet for some time myself. This is my favorite Christmas album.

I've owned this album for about ten years now and I love listening to it when Christmas rolls around. I used to play trumpet and I enjoy listening to brass ensembles. The instruments in this brass ensemble fit together perfectly. None of the music is over the top and it's very tasteful.I honestly recommend this album to anyone looking for a good instrumental Christmas CD.My ONLY complaint is I wish it were longer. Honestly. I'm not just saying that to be funny. I wish they had another Christmas album available because I'd have it in a heartbeat.

I totally agree with the other reviewers. This is collection of Christmas favorites is very classy, easy listening. I've had it for many years and still love listening to it.

I enjoy this cd because the brass choir is crisp and bright. I didn't pay much for it but I play it every year along with other favorites.
