If your connected device to the Slingbox is your laptop or any device which plugs into the composite lead , then the stream is viewable remotely , but for the iphone you will have to purchase the Sling app for this to work .

No such thing as freesat dish. Any dish used for Sky or Freesat is a satellite dish. Sling boxes are often connected to your router, satellite reciever and TV.
