Fast connection, no lag, and it works every time I start the car.
After returning a different brand that clearly had commitment issues, I gave this adapter a try and this one actually shows up and does its job. Plugged it in, paired it once and now my CarPlay connects automatically every time. No drama, no fiddling, no daily re-introductions like we’ve never met before. If you’re tired of wires (and unreliable gadgets), this one’s a keeper.

Great Wireless CarPlay Adapter
Off to a great start; almost flawless installation on 2 units, which required a couple extra steps not specifically mentioned in the instructions but once activated was fine. Unless something negative pops up during use, it will be one of those products I wish I needed a bunch of! In case anyone is wondering how to keep the phone charged during extended journeys, I simply plug the cable previously used for wired CarPlay into a spare USB charging port (not the one used to connect to the head unit) while leaving the adapter plugged into the head unit port.

Yes small delay present
Doesn’t do screen mirroring only the standard car play. And there is a very slight delay but it’s the best I’ve used so far.

I recommend but it has a few flaws
It works well. However, sometimes it interferes with car Bluetooth connectivity if you get in your vehicle on a phone call. Often I can’t hear the other person and either have to turn off car system (the radio) which is synced to the Bluetooth. Or scramble to sift the call back to the phone. It has overheated once and I had to disconnect it. I think I’ve had it for almost if not one year. I still recommend it.

Quick connections
Had for about a week now. Links up really easy when you get in vehicle. Probably within 30 seconds it playing. Can’t comment on phone calls I haven’t tried.

It’s OK, but not perfect
This works great about 95% of the time. However, 5% of the time I do have to unplug it and reset it. It almost glitches and freezes up. But I can live with that because it only takes me a second to unplug it, count to five and plug it back in. I would’ve given a five star rating had been no issues. But it’s definitely solid four stars.
