Large Cat Tree

A really nice cat tower, easy to assemble, Kittens and young cats seems to like this tower best. My older cats are apparently too big to be interested. The scratching posts are the main attraction. I thought it was a good value. Our local shelter has switched from this type to one that is easier to clean. I can't recall the name, but it is constructed with PVC.

What you want to know: Sturdiness? Well, this sucker is sturdy enough for our 16lb and 20lb cats to wrestle on it. Our poor tubbiest cat has health issues that cause the high weight and make it hard for him to climb, but this has helped his mobility! We put it behind the couch, and it's helped deter some couch scratching (not all) while giving them more options to hang out with us (which they take). We've had it a few months now, and it's as solid as the day we brought it home. Construction? Easy. You can even customize it some for how your cats will want to use it. The holes are not super visible in the green furry cloth, but they're there! Just feel around for them. That oval scratcher goes on easily. And mime did come with a useful paper illustration of construction, but I used the photos of it and suggestions in the comments more than I did the paper because I'm kinda contrary. The scratching posts itch and sting when gripping them (common with sisal rope) to twist them on, so if you don't want to grit and bear it, wear some gloves. Those leaves? They're hanging in there better than the matching scratcher did XD The cats do like to attack them. The ball on the string? Ah, no. It was torn off after a few months. We do tie it back on from time to time, but they don't take long in ripping it down. How to get your cats to love it instantly? Cat nip. Douse it. Rub it on the scratching posts. Sprinkle it on the leaves, and when they attack them, they will stir up more. Do this once a week or so, and your cats will thank you. Your furniture might, too. I think that's about all the info you'll need? I am 100% happy I bought this. We were worried about having space for it, but it has not been an issue at all. Edited a year or two later: While part of the carpeted bit under the scratcher is scratched off (lol, expected), this thing is still in the same great condition as early on, and the cats still use it constantly. I wanted to come back and say it's still one of the best cat buys I've made!

Super easy to assemble! My cats love it. Seems pretty stable too. Love how tall it is and the different levels. Only thing is the green fabric feels like it won’t hold up well. It’s very soft and looks like it will be easily shredded by their nails. Would buy again as it’s good for the price!

My cats are obsessed with this thing. It was easy to put together and pretty durable! Obly about a year later is the twine starting to rip off because of their incessant scratching

It's exactly as pictured, easy to put together, and very sturdy. It is a little bigger than I thought it would be and I'm very happy about that. My cats are already in love with it. The only thing I would mention is that the hammock is definitely not made for a full size cat. It didn't break but he was to big to curl up on it.

Decent quality, but the instructions are pretty much useless. It’s pretty easy to put together by looking at the picture but the attachable scratching post is a bit different than shown in the instructions. The L shaped metal piece is used to attach it to the tower in between the two fuzzy green posts. Took me way too long to figure that out so hope this helps anyone struggling with assembly.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this cat tree is, especially considering how affordable it is. My teenager put it together even though the instructions weren’t easy to interpret. She just followed the picture and it was pretty self explanatory. My cat loves this cat tree. It has definitely helped with her wanting to claw the furniture. We just redirect her to the tree when she tries clawing anything else. It’s also a great place to feed her, because my dog had been helping himself to her leftovers and making himself sick. Now I just place her bowl on the top shelf and I don’t have to worry about him getting into it because he’s too fat to make the effort to climb up there.

The assembly was not that hard, - thanks to the video in the description and the instructions. It took me about half an hour to assemble the product and it is sturdier than I had expected. The cat likes to stay at the lower level and he actually uses the scratch posts and plays with some of the toys that I hung along those posts to make him scratch his nails. When in the playing mood, he jumps and climbs up and down the tree without any problems although his size is on the bulkier side. I am very happy with this purchase.
