...wow! This stuff is STRONG! I actually needed a bigger pair of wire cutters to work with it! Might be a bit tough for jewelry making, unless you want a very sturdy base. However, if you find it's too tough for delicate work, this wire will be a nifty substitute for twisty-ties!

GOOD TO USE FOR JEWELRY. ALTHOUGH IT WAS HEAVIER AND STIFFER TO WORK WITH, I HAVE A METAL ALLERGY AND CAN'T WEAR OTHER METALS UNLESS IT IS 24-CARAT GOLD OR SILVER. THIS WAS A SATISFACTORY ALTERNATIVE AND A GOOD BUY.

I have a pliers set for crafting wire projects. I knew that this wire would be tough,and that was the reason for my purchase. I needed a wire in a larger diameter, that would be tough and resist bending, and retain the shape that I would bend it too. That makes it tougher to cut,and my 4 inch flush cutting pliers were not quite up to the job. I needed longer handles to get more leverage, so I could complete the cut.
