The perfect "Art TV" without the premium price tag!
I've wanted one of those "frame" style TVs for the longest time to go above my fireplace when we moved to a new house but I just couldn't bring myself to pay the premium price for the name brand version. Since I run a small business from home and spend a lot of time in my living room, I really wanted something that looked like decor rather than just a big black rectangle on the wall. After a lot of research, I went with the 55 inch Hisense CanvasTV, and I am so happy I did! Installation & Look The installation was surprisingly straightforward. It comes with an ultra-slim wall mount that lets it sit flush against the wall, which is key for making it actually look like a piece of art. The teak bezel is a really nice feature too; it just snaps on magnetically and instantly elevates the whole look. The 55 inch size is absolutely perfect for the space above my mantle and it fits the proportions of the room without being overwhelming. The Art Mode & Display I love that there are so many different art pieces to choose from right out of the box. You can really match the mood of the room or the season. I will say, it does take some picture adjusting to get that perfect matte, "painting" look. The Hi-Matte display is great at cutting out glare from my windows, but you have to play with the brightness and color settings to make it look less like a screen and more like a canvas. A little online research goes a long way here, but once you find the right settings, it looks incredible! Motion Sensor & Performance The motion sensor, which controls the auto on and off, can be a bit of a hit or miss sometimes. However, it’s been much more reliable recently, even though I didn’t change any of my settings. I’m wondering if a new firmware update came out that smoothed things over. It’s been great lately at "sleeping" when no one is around and then turning right back on to the canvas mode the second we walk by. It’s so nice to walk into the room and see a beautiful landscape instead of a blank screen. Overall If you want that high-end designer look but don't want to break the bank, this is a fantastic option. The picture quality is sharp for movie nights, but the way it transforms into art during the day is what really makes it special. It has been a wonderful addition to my home, and I’ve already had a few guests ask if it was a real painting during visits.

Perfect Size for My Great Room — Media Wall Coming Soon
This Hisense 75” CanvasTV is the perfect size for my great room wall. The picture quality is sharp, bright, and clean from every angle, and the QLED panel really brings out the color and detail. It fills the space exactly the way I wanted without overwhelming the room. I’m planning to build a full media wall around this TV, so I’ll update with photos once the project is complete. For now, I’m extremely happy with the look, performance, and overall presence of this TV. If you’re looking for a large screen that delivers great quality at a solid value, this one is a winner.

Buy this TV if you are thinking about a Canva tv. Definitely worth the purchase
I absolutely Love Love Love this beautiful TV! Best spring family gift ever! The price is better than the other Canva TVs. Lots of beautiful art work to look at. The color is beautiful. Seriously look like I have art on my wall. Great if you homeschool to have Art in the background while playing classical music. The picture quality is excellent! The sound is great! I don’t have blinds on my windows, but I can still watch our learning videos in the daytime with the sun shining in. Easy to connect phone to tv. It was easy to set up. Love that you must put a passcode in each time so my younger child can’t just watch what ever and that I can switch to kids account where they can only watch parent approved content and I can also set time limits. Really the best TV. So far very reliable.

Good tv, some caveats
I needed a "smart tv" in my bedroom to cut cable and use modern streaming apps natively. I dont like the Roku option. This tv was fairly easy to set up out of the box, and has every service available. I wasn't thrilled to learn its so tied into my own personal Google account, which seems intrusive. But, given I am in the eco system already, using Nest thermostat and cameras, I can forgive this. Others be warned. That said, it is cute to be able to see my live cameras on the big screen, or make temperature adjustments. Wall installation was fairly easy. There are no adjustment opportunities with the mount, so be sure to get it right the first time. It also helps greatly to have recessed power and hdmi inputs to achieve the most flush installation. It does look great once on the wall. Art mode is unconvincing af. There is no seeing anything but a tv as soon as you see it. However, I do use it, and it has a huge selection of art which is really cool. Because the tv is paired with a sound bar, that probably betrays some of the convincing it takes to believe it is anything but a tv. I got this tv at a great price during the prime days sale, so I really can't complain too much. I cannot imagine the samsung frame tv, which doesn't even include a frame, does anything better than this tv, which will always be priced much more reasonably. Recommended.

Highly recommend, more than just a TV!!
Just purchased the 2026 Hisense 85" Canvas TV, and honestly, it really does look like a painting on the wall. (Just like everyone mentioned) Mounted it in the main bedroom, and the magnetic frames blended perfectly with our furniture, especially matching the dresser. We originally wanted artwork on the wall but didn’t want to sacrifice space, so this TV ended up being a perfect hybrid solution. Thousands of art to choose from, and there’s no subscription!!! Performance wise, movie mode is bright and the speakers are better than expected for a TV, though I still recommend pairing it with a soundbar if you want a more immersive experience. It runs on Google TV, so setup was extremely easy and convenient when syncing with your Google account. It allows you to configure on your phone instead of typing in the TV. Google TV interface runs very fast and responsive. Plenty of ports for devices, so no issues hooking up gaming consoles or streaming devices. (2x 144hz HDMI ports and 2x 60hz HDMI ports.) Colors look vibrant and natural, especially in art mode where it really looks like a real canvas. Installation was straightforward, but this is a huge TV, so you’ll definitely want 2–3 people to mount it safely. It sits very flush against the wall, which really enhances the “canvas” effect. Overall, this is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a TV that function as wall art and a smart TV.

Perfect for hosting and watching
We’ve had this about a few weeks now, mounted above the mantel in our living room, and honestly it’s been great. Jumped right into the NBA playoffs on it and that was basically the perfect test — fast movement, bright colors, packed arenas. It handled all of it beautifully. Our living room gets a lot of natural light and I was worried about glare, but it really hasn’t been an issue. The picture stays bright and clear even with sun coming in. Colors are vivid without looking overdone, and the motion on fast breaks and transition plays is smooth with zero blur. Sound is better than I expected too. We haven’t felt the need to add a soundbar yet, which I didn’t think I’d be saying. Crowd noise and commentary both come through really well. Setup was straightforward and Fire TV is easy to navigate. Alexa works if you use it, we don’t much. Couple things worth mentioning: the home screen pushes ads which gets old fast, and the remote feels pretty cheap for a TV in this price range. Small stuff, but worth knowing. Overall though, for a 75 inch Mini-LED at this price, I’m not sure what else you’d want. If you’re buying it for a bright living room and sports, it checks every box. Really happy with it.

Amazing, maybe better than Frame...
We ordered this recently on a deal figuring we wanted a Frame TV for our living room but would still mostly watch shows in our media room. We've been blown away with it and mostly just watch shows and Youtube in there now and haven't bothered getting the media room dialed. It was very easy to set up once I dug into it, and is very secure. Here are my favorite things: 1) The frame aspect is awesome. The frame itself is included (unlike Samsung) and is quite pretty and will match a variety of decor, and it sits on the wall with a great presence. Additionally it really does look like a painting. I mean, you aren't tricking anybody except maybe Grandma but it automatically adjusts the brightness and tone to match the lighting in the room and really blends in well. 2) The included art is awesome. I think I just set it to auto and it's a variety of cool paintings, mostly landscapes. I want to say it learns what you like when you skip them too, but I'm not sure. Compare this with Samsung which gives you nothing and makes you pay a subscription for the art! Lol! 3) I was wary about it having standard plugs vs the dock like Samsung, but we've only plugged in the power cable which is super easy to hide (plant on the mantel). I've heard horror stories about bluetooth audio lag, and I don't know if it is automatically compensating but it lines up perfectly and I've felt no need to plug our external speakers in directly.

Perfect Blend of Style and Performance
I picked up this Hisense 65-inch CanvasTV during Cyber Week, and it’s honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made for my home. The picture quality is excellent—bright, sharp, and the Dolby Vision HDR really makes movies and shows look incredible. But what really sets this TV apart is the design. The canvas-style display in sleep mode is a game changer—it genuinely looks like a piece of art or a portrait on the wall instead of just a blank screen. It adds a whole different level of style to the room. The Google TV interface is smooth and easy to use, and setup was quick and straightforward. Even though I got it on a deal, I can confidently say I’d pay full price for it. It’s not just a TV—it doubles as décor, and that makes it totally worth it. Highly recommend for anyone who wants both great performance and a clean, modern look.

Very cool TV that works well a monitor as well
Got this TV to make my desk look less like a computer desk and more like a built in area of my home. When not in use the TV is set to art mode and it shows beautiful artworks. You can also upload your own but there are tons of nice ones already on it. Love the magnetic frame, you can buy different ones if you don't like the one is comes with. Works well as a monitor too! 4k 120hz and nice color. Only thing that is annoying is sometimes the person detect doesn't work so well and it either stays on all night or doesn't come back on when someone walks in the room. But that issue is intermittent and I wouldn't really take any points off for it

Wonderful Canvas TV
We run Wabakimi Wilderness Lodge. We replaced our older not to sharp TV in the reading/TV room with this TV. Wow. Sharp. Easy to use. Smart. and comes with hundreds of classic and modern superb art works for screen savers. Does not look like a TV... rather like a beautiful piece of wall art. We were surprised at how hi-fidelity the sound was. Hisense is high quality and good value. Only regret? should have bought a little bigger.

Love it!
I love it. Really does look like precious Art while not in TV mode. I just leave it on one piece. It has a motion sensor, so if I'm out, it goes off.

Great Art TV that fits in well with any decor of your home, with better than average TV performance
I've always wanted art above the mantle in our living room, but also missed having the ability to have a TV for the odd guest that comes over. Looked into those lifestyle TVs, and after comparing Samsung's Frame, vs Hisense's Canvas, I think I made the right choice with the Canvas. Likes: - How everything is in one package, without any satellite box - Large selection of art work to display - Motion detector to minimize the always on display - Google TV and integration with Google Home - Decent HDR/Dolby Vision Performance, SDR is quite good for a VA panel (post color calibration, and greyscaled to 100 nits) - Matte display really minimizes the glare from very large nearby windows - Nice touch with the included aluminum frame Dislikes: - SDR picture quality out of the box is quite poor, extremely blue tones (but quite good when calibrated) - Included wall plate for the 65" TV is only 19" wide, where my studs are 20" apart. Only able to land one anchor in a stud, so cautionary with a nearly 65 lbs TV - Power cable is angled, but you will still need a recessed outlet (I have one), but even then you won't be perfectly flat to the wall. Wish the power input was more in the upper middle to alleviate this - Audio lacks any sort of bass. It’s passable, but don’t expect miracles from the DTS 2.0.2 system that’s included If you need something that is primarily art, but love the ability to have a TV conveniently nearby and don’t expect OLED type viewing, then this really balances the best of both worlds!
