This book was just as advertised. It was mailed in a timely manner. Great buy! The book was a pleasant gift surprise.

This was required summer reading for my daughter. She loved the story and is excited to read the others now. Took her the first chapter or 2 to get used to the way the language is written.

🎧A beautiful, heartwarming story for all ages about a boy’s love for animals, an abused dog, and his quest to save it from his brutal neighbor. An 11-year-old boy named Marty must choose between two unsavory choices: rescuing the abused Shiloh through stealing and lying, or allowing his neighbor to keep abusing Shiloh. The ending is satisfying and heartwarming. As a side note…The author decided to write Shiloh after an emotional experience she had in West Virginia where she encountered an abused dog. I highly recommend the audiobook! Peter MacNocol is a fabulous narrator.
