• The case itself is decent. • It significantly adds weight to the laptop, and the extra heft is easily noticeable. ⚠️⚠️ The main reason for the 1-star review is that the screen can no longer stay open halfway due to the added weight and research on Google confirms that such heavy covers will eventually damage the hinge, leading to the need for an expensive screen replacement.

This case fits my new macbook perfectly. It looks nice, and doesn't interfere with the ports. When you spend thousands on a new laptop, a few extra dollars to protect your investment is a no brainer. Couldn't be simpler to fit, simply align the macbook with the bottom half and it snaps in. Then press the top half of the case onto the computer, making sure its the right way around. Very pleased with this protective cover.
