I have a few other DREO fans that I’m impressed with so I thought I’d take a chance with this ceiling fan. This fan does not disappoint. It’s very simple to install. Once you remove the base and install it to the ceiling box mount there is a small hook you can hang the base from while you tie into the ground, hit, and neutral wires for your switch. There’s plenty of space so the electrical connection won’t be cramped while you twist the base onto the mount and screw it tight. Mine came with a collar for the mount plate to hide the screws so not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I preferred to install the four fan blades on a work table and then bring it to the ceiling box. As far as operation goes, it’s very smooth and quiet. Was able to pair it easily to the app and control it along with my other DREO products. The remote is pretty nice and doesn’t feel too “plasticky”. The light gets bright and has a smooth to soft characteristic with many different color temperatures to choose from. Overall very happy to have this well designed and functional fan in our four bedrooms, especially during this part of the summer.

This Dreo ceiling fan is a standout in both design and performance. The white finish and subtle color tones give it a clean, modern look that blends beautifully with any room decor. Installation was straightforward and once mounted (quite easily I might add), it sits flush and low-profile—perfect for bedrooms. What I appreciated were the 12 fan speeds and 3 modes, along with the graduated dimmable lighting. You can fine-tune the airflow and brightness to exactly what you need, whether it’s a gentle breeze or a stronger push of air. And speaking of airflow, this fan is virtually silent but still manages to move a significant amount of air—enough that we rely on it through hot Florida nights instead of running the AC. I loved it so much I bought a second one right away. When I went back for a third and fourth, they were unfortunately out of stock, and I had to settle for a near-match from another brand for the other bedrooms. After about 8 months, I did notice one issue with the remote on our master bedroom fan—it became overly sensitive, registering touches and beeping even when just lifting it off the shelf. I had to factory reset the fan (using different instructions online) twice over 11 months because the speed seemed stuck on medium nor would it reverse (anticlockwise) for winter months, but this only affected one unit. The other in guest bedroom has worked flawlessly. Despite that minor hiccup, I still absolutely love this fan. It’s a perfect cooling solution for quiet, comfortable sleep, and the smart features make it a joy to appreciate. Trust me, if it's not turned on, you'll appreciate when it is!

Well designed, easy to put up (for a ceiling fan anyway) and easy to set up to control with HomeAssistant. Very quiet. The ability to change color temperature is also very convenient, I wish my other ceiling fans I put up a couple years ago had this. Only minor downside is that I was changing from a double-switch (separate fan and light) setup, and this is all on one wire since everything is controlled by the remote, so now I have one wall switch that doesn't do anything. If you're installing it new or on a fan that is only on one switch you won't encounter this though.

So far I am super thrilled with this fan. I was worried as most fans have a lot of bad reviews. The install went great, the hook was nice touch. I like the dual sided blades, both look good, but I went white to blend in more. It paired easily, and can be controlled by Alexa. I am not sure this will be a buy it for life type thing, but at this price point, I'm ok with that. I am super happy with my purchase, and plan to get more if this continues to run well. No wobbles so didn't need to do any balancing either. Remote is nice looking as well, pretty small and modern feeling.

Amazing Fan. This is a third Dreo ceiling fan I purchased. One in every room now. Exceptional fan features like app fan control for light brightness and warmth + fan speeds + fan reverse spin option + Alexa voice control. For me there is no way back to conventional fans. This version of the fan has shorter blade! Which is a plus for my situation. Mine is sitting between bunk beds and kids are finally getting air movement! We called it a “head chopper” fan, but since the blades a shorter no issues so far! Kids are extremely happy with a name and decided to keep it! Fan quality is great material wise! Fan is silent as well! No whooshing sound like other fans, pure joy 🤩. Installation quicker than for a fan with longer blades, since everything is prebuilt. One thing though, final step: light panel assembly was a bit hard… You definitely need apply power to connect it to fan assembly properly! Hope over time it will continue working. My oldest unit is half a year and works and look like new one!

Purchased two Dreo smart ceiling fans (CLF513S). I really like the overall look, and the reversible blades are a great touch—you get two style options: a natural wood finish or a clean silver. Both have a sleek design, so it’s nice to have that flexibility. The smart features work great, and the light is very impressive. It really brightens the room and almost gives a daylight effect, which I like a lot. Installation was easy, and connecting to the network was quick and flawless. Overall, a great product and solid execution by Dreo. I’d definitely consider buying more of their products in the future.

I normally don’t pay much attention to the ceiling fan over my head to be honest. However, we recently upgraded the fans in our house and I decided to give this one a try for our first room. Long story short (“yada yada yada”), we now have Dreos up in all of our rooms! It was easy to install. (As a matter of fact, I am a 50yr old woman and it freaked my father-in-law out that I took on the installation by myself, but it was so easy to follow along with the video online that it made me look smart and gave me some serious dad-in-law cred.). It is noticeably sleek in appearance, mounts flush to the ceiling, has various light temps so that you can make it match other lamps/lighting in the room, is super quiet, and generates quite a bit of air considering the size. The app is easy to use. We have a couple that have WiFi and link to the easy to use app and one that does not. Honestly, the WiFi/app is more of a luxury as we tend to just use the remote. I was concerned that the top of the mount is just white plastic, but it actually looks better once installed than I was expecting. The only minor irritation is that there seems to be a 1-2 second delay from the time I flip the wall switch until it turns on. But it also remembers my last setting, so this is not a deal breaker for me.

We ordered two 44” DREO ceilings fans 1 for our living room and 1 for our bedroom, we absolutely love these fans. They are easy to install and quite as a mouse. “NO WOBBLE” well made and move the air better than any other fan I ever owned plus very modern looking. The remote is easy to use and the app is even easier. I also own 2 DREO floor fans and they are just as good, I am sold on this company. They really make a great product.
