Flowers & Gems: Greyscale Adult Coloring Book, spiral bound coloring book,single sided coloring book, women coloring book for adults

I have all of this artist's books. She is very talented. I purchased the others through Etsy. I think this may have been her first book as the later ones show a vast improvement in terms of both composition and the differences between the subjects. While you will soon recognize her style and can identify one of her pages, in her later books there are more unique characteristics between the images. I have attached photos. I think they are all from this book but 1 or 2 may be from one of her others. I always copy the pages on 80 pound Vellum Bristol white paper as I like to practice, so I have all hers filed in the same place and not filed by the different books. My favorite book of hers is her most recent one "Wild Soul". In it there is an animal included with the women. If there was a price for best coloring book, she would most definitely be in the running for it! The books are a bit longer than normal. On my printer I put the settings on Fit to Page under "size". I then previewed the page before I copied it. That allowed me to adjust the book if necessary. I know many people are good enough to just go directly to the book, but I am not that confident and/or that good, so I always practice a page at least once if not more before I do the one in the book.

This is my first Grazio Salvo book. Wow. GEORGEOUS doesn't even begin to describe it. Paper is awesome. It is spiral bound. Now I don't see where pages are perforated but this could be a 2nd edition or something. But pages are single sided so no problem there. I just hope I can do these beautiful ladies justice. I am practicing coloring gemstones as book has plenty...The book wasn't cheap...but you get what you pay for and I feel I got over and beyond what I paid for. I have already colored a small portion of one page and it has plenty of tooth so FC Polychromos are laying down beautifully as I can keep layering. Also alcohol markers look awesome on these GRAYSCALE pages. I normally don't like grayscale but I would say these are very light grayscale. So I sincerely believe any colorist would love it. I plan on getting more of her books in the future. ( oh this is the Artist Edition with 40 images) so well worth what I paid. Happy coloring !!

GRAZIA SALVO IS IN ANOTHER WORLD ON HOW SHE PUTS SO MUCH INTO A LADY'S FACE, EYES, HAIR AND SO ON. I DO IT FOR FUN I MAKE A COPY OF THE ONE I AM DOING TO MAKE IT PERFECT & THEN GET THE ORIGINAL & DO IT FOR A FRIEND WHICH I SIGN AND FRAME. I LOVE IT IT HELPS ME TO RELAX MY BRAIN I HAD A RUPTURED BRAIN ANEURYSM 1998 I WOKE UP 13 DAYS LATER LIKE A LITTLE GIRL THEY CAME TO MY HOME FOR THE NEXT 7 MONTHS TO TEACH ME HOW TO TALK, WALK, READ & WRITE I MUST SAY I AM THE LUCKY ONE. To be honest, this book is one I got as a personal challenge to help stretch my own art style. I am super-realistic, and this book is quite stylized, though very beautiful. I am a little intimidated by this book, in a good way!!! I don't want to color the same thing over and over, and branching out styles is one way to make sure you keep growing as a colorist. The art is beautiful, and while I would not give this to a beginning colorist, I would not hesitate for anyone else. It is a lovely book. You might want to make sure you have skin coloring skill in your wheelhouse, but after that, anything you want to do, go for it. I have not stuck to "human" skin colors, as many others have experimented with blues and greens quite successfully. You can color this very realistically, or change up the colors and play with color palettes. I like this book a lot. I am very close to loving it. It's just a matter of time. :-)

While browsing the other day for an adult coloring book I came across this book. I kept trying to talk myself out of paying 17.99 for a coloring book. I kept putting it in my cart and taking it out. Then I would look at it again, and finally I kept it in the cart. But let me tell you! I LOVE this book. The artwork is phenomenal. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! It is so beautiful I don't even want to color the pages in fear of messing up the artist's beautiful artwork. As I turned the pages, just when I thought what I was looking at was breathtaking enough, page after page was the same. The pages are heavy weight. Not sure if they are cardstock weight, but if not, close to it. You can use multiple mediums on this paper. I'm on my way to Martha's Vineyard for a little R & R, and this book will definitely be coming with me. I will look for other works by Grazia Salvo. Bravo!

Oh my gosh!!! This is the most beautiful coloring book from the first page to the last page. Each picture is awesome, each one is a beautiful work of art. Grazia Salvo is now my second favorite artist, she does exceptional work. There all so beautiful I hate to color them but I'll find a way to. Lol The whole coloring book is the best one I've ever bought. It's ring bound, with perforated pages and great paper. I would gladly pay more for any coloring made like this one. This one should set the standard's for all coloring book's. I just received this today and haven't had a chance to color in it yet but I know it's going to be a great time when I do. Everyone should buy at least one of her book's so you know what I'm talking about you won't regret it at all. Happy coloring! God bless you all!

Decent if you want to practice shading and tone for portraits but haven't tried sketching your own people yet freehand. As usual pencils will work better than crayons- and oil pencils will go down smoother than the wax type. I prefer the lyra brand but use whatever you have- bring on the skin tones and soft shades.

Stunning book love all the pictures well worth the money and the postage I had to pay to UK from USA . The paper is excellent quality best I've come across and I'm using copics and pencils . I've got the other book the artist has as download and that is excellent as well.

Its a beautiful coloring in book......wasn't what I expected....much better than I thought!
