So knee height depends on your size. **Q: Will this work on open toe compression stockings** A: I use this because have not very bendable knees. I have prescription open toed stockings and find that I can usually get the stockings into place by pressing my foot hard onto a hard surface as soon as my toes appear and then pulling the unit up my leg. I adjust any slight positioning of the heel using a long (flexible) shoe horn. There is a knack in doing this. I also use the shoe horn to remove the stockings (I cannot reach my toes because of age). **Q: Do people purchase two for ladies compression tights? or do one leg at a time?** A: Hi, I don't think using 2 of these would help you with compression tights. Complete Care Shop do a 'double unit' but, that may be only for ordinary tights, I would have a word with the Care Shop. It may be that putting them on physically may be the only thing, but, as I know, you need to be quite fit to do that, which I found hard. To do this, you would need to be sat down, with a buffet in front of you to put your feet on and put on one leg at a time up to knee level and then pull them fully up whilst stood. May I point out that I am male. If female, I think toileting would also be a problem. So 2 individual stockings may be easier to use, and then, this frame is the best that I have seen.
