OMG….LOVE THEM!!!
I decided to order a used pair, as it said they were in good shape, only worn a couple times to try on. They arrived perfectly brand new looking, with an inspected sticker on the plastic surrounding the boots. I made sure to read as many reviews as I could, even the bad reviews, before ordering. I really do not understand the reviews that said the shoes wear trash and bad quality. I have had boots and paid quite a bit, like in the $100+ range, for boots, that are the same quality as these. And, I bought them used for $15.60 including tax, and I got a major steal. I think at the regular price, they are still a steal. The black lace is absolutely gorgeous and firmly attached. The boots are beautifully designed and made to be comfortable. I have witches booties, that I paid $75 for 2 years ago, and they absolutely kill my feet. These look narrow, but inside they are roomy. I wear a size 10 in women’s and ordered exactly that. I also have a wide foot and used get wide shoes, so I was hoping these wouldn’t squeeze my foot. Not only did it fit perfectly and give me plenty of room length wise, it is completely comfortable and accommodating to my wide foot, without making the boots look stretched out. I walk around in them and they were the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. But, since I get fatigued feet easily, for extra caution. I added jell foot inserts. It made my toe area a little tight, but not bad, and not uncomfortable. I also have wide calves and they fit absolutely perfectly and look so very beautiful on my feet. Do be careful on smooth wood floors or other smooth shiny surfaces, they are slippery. I’m going to roughen them up on the bottoms with some rough sandpaper, to help with grip. I did have one boot that arrived sunken on one side of the toe area. I had to pop it back out. It looked like someone had stepped on the toe. I unfortunately wasn’t able to get this one tiny little spot on the end of the toe to pop back out, but it’s not noticeable at all. The boots are so very beautiful and well made. I absolutely love them and I had bought them for my Elven Earth Witch costume this year. But, have decided to add them to my everyday shoe collection. I wore them yesterday for a good hour and they were so very comfortable. I absolutely love these boots, and would buy them again. I highly recommend them, and if you want extra comfort add some gell foot inserts. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Much nicer than expected!
I purchased these boots for my teenaged daughter to pair with a Victorian/Gothic style dress. She normally wears a Size 6 in all styles of shoes, and the Size 6 in these boots is true to size and they fit her just right. Her foot is slightly narrow and she has plenty of room in the width in these, so I feel like they might be able to also accommodate a slightly wide foot. As it is, she has plenty of room to wear thick, cushy socks to offset the typical discomfort one experiences from standing in heels for hours. They have a very small amount of cushioning in the insole (maybe 1/8th inch thick) and the very slightest amount of arch support, but because they have a low 2.5” heel they are still fairly comfortable for wearing for long periods of time. My daughter said her feet were feeling a little achy at the end of the night, but it wasn’t anything more than what she normally feels when wearing heels. In other words, they’re not exactly like walking on clouds but they’re not devices of torture, either. Also, the heels flair at the bottom so they’re very stable like stacked heels with the added bonus of being super cute! The boots are lace-up and zip up so you can adjust the laces to your preferred fit and then use the zipper for easy on/easy off wearing. With all the comments about how these boots are great for wide calves, I was concerned that they would end up being too loose for my daughter because she has very slender calves. However, they actually fit her calves just fine and she could even adjust the laces to wear them a little bit tighter if she wanted. Another plus we discovered with these boots is that the tongue is designed with a loop near the top through which the laces can be attached. Anyone who has ever worn tall, lace-up boots in which the tongue required frequent straightening can appreciate this as the loop keeps the tongue upright and centered while wearing these boots. Because these boots have a very pointed toe, they do make your foot look longer than when wearing shoes with a round toe, so be warned. While they are very feminine in appearance, they’re not going to give you the appearance of tiny, dainty feet. They do create the illusion of very slender feet, however. As far as quality and construction, I try to be realistic with my expectations based on price so I didn’t go into this expecting Louboutin quality. Having said that, I feel these boots are quite well made given the $40 price tag at the time of my purchase. They are made with a PU and polyester lace upper. The thick lace is very pretty and has a solid backing so you can wear comfy socks under these boots, and the upper is supported with a cushiony foam type of material that makes them very comfortable around your calves. The metal grommets and hooks are lightweight but they feel secure. The boots overall are lightweight but the soles and heels still feel sturdy. The stitching looks nice and I can’t find any areas that look sloppy. Since the style of these boots is Victorian/Steampunk/Gothic, in addition to photos of the boots, I included photos of my daughter wearing them with a similarly themed dress to give you an idea of how they’ll look in real life. I have to say these boots are really perfect for this style of clothing. I honestly would have been happy with a lesser quality boot at this price given how perfect they look with this style of clothing, but the fact that the quality was better than I expected for the price was just an added bonus. My daughter absolutely loves these boots and I’m also very happy with this purchase because they’re just really great boots. If you’re on the fence and worried by the low price, you should go for it. You won’t be disappointed. **Note - If my review has been helpful to you, click on the button below and let me know!**

Perfect Fit for My Pennywise Costume
I absolutely love these boots! I wore them all day for my clown costume and they were surprisingly comfortable, no pain or blisters at all. I ordered a size 10 and while they felt a little big at first, I’m glad I didn’t size down. When you’re walking, standing, and dancing for hours your feet naturally swell so the 10 ended up being perfect. The lace up design gave great ankle support and the boots looked amazing with my outfit. Definitely worth it if you want something stylish and comfy for long wear.

Very nice boots (Although…)
These boots are very nice and clean, no buttons or seams broken and in good condition, great for your daily gothly looks or Victorian era style boots. Although I’d definitely say these are well worth the money, you’d probably want to get yourself some doctor soles for these as there isn’t a lot of cushion at all in these boots. But other than that, they are true to size, and very well made.

Adorable Comfortable Witchy. Adjustable leg. Fits my skinny ankle and plus size calf
I LOVE these shoes. I've been looking several years for a victorian inspired, witchy looking shoe. I'd love them to be real leather. But, I don't want to pay a hefty price for a shoe I'll wear 2 or 3 times a year. I don't want my ''cheaper than real leather'' shoes to look cheap either. These shoes don't look cheap. (looks like you paid twice the price) These are really cute and victorian/witchy looking. I'm older with an old ankle injury and always wear either a flat shoe or I'm barefooted. So any heel has to be stable and comfortable. I stood on my weak foot/ankle and ''wiggled'' the weight of my body on the shoe, testing for stability. It passed that test with flying colors. This shoe is very easy to walk in with a stable heel that doesn't feel like a high heel. It feels/walks like about 2" height. I do recommend adding a thin insole inside this shoe. I got a thin, cheap pair for $2 bucks to place inside. It's ok without an insole, but my other shoes have an insole and I'm spoiled. I'm also a plus sized gal with bigger calves and a skinny ankle (that is a sometimes hard to fit combo). The shoes zip up for ease in getting on/off, but also have real lacing up the front, making them adjustable from the ankle all the way up to thru the top of the calf. I loosened the top couple inches of lacing, slipped my foot inside, zipped the shoe, adjusted the laces to my ankle and calves. Now they zip on and off without further adjustment. For roughly $30 I got everything I wanted. Perfect buy!

Excellent Investment
I admit that I was a bit worried when I ordered these boots. Buying shoes or boots online can be 'iffy' for me. But I am very happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the fit of these boots. Now I will say that if you plan to stand for long periods of time, you may want to insert soft arch supports. Every year I construct a Halloween scene in my garage and light up the entire house. So I get lots of visitors on Halloween night. I wore these boots with a ghostly lady costume and they looked fabulous. I then stood on concrete and handed out candy to cute little trick-or-treaters in my neighborhood for five hours. And boy oh boy did I feel it the next day. Other than that. I love these boots. I wear an 8.5, but purchased a 9. With a regular pair of socks they are not too loose, and not too snug. I tucked the laces inside the boots and they looked lovely. Although tied in a bow they look nice either way. The zipper makes them easy to get on and off (of course) so you only need to adjust the laces according to your own comfort level. As a frugal person who dresses up during the holidays, and spends a great deal of time standing, these boots have proven to be an excellent investment for me. I have decorated my garage as a North Pole Toy Shoppe’ and will be having a Christmas craft sale in early December. So once I add a soft arch support to these lovely boots they will also compliment my Ms. Santa suit. And who knows, I am so pleased with them that I may even wear these beautiful boots around town...just for the heck of it. peace

You get what you pay for and that isnt much
I LOVE these boots. I really wanted real leather, but I figured these would work for $30 and they would allow me to find out if I would even wear the style enough to justify spending much more for a good pair. They were pretty good, even when wearing them all day. No padding in the ball of the foot, so 2 days in a row with a lot of walking was excruciating by the end of day 2. Not surprising because pain is beauty, am I right? Still, worth it. But the 5th time that I wore them, for a photo shoot none the less, the rubber part on the heel falls off and I cant seem to get the 3 pegs back into the holes to reattach it with superglue or E6000 (that stuff holds everything). Honestly, I'm VERY disappointed because I have really been loving them, but they have fallen apart rather quickly. 5 wears before they fall apart? I'd rather pay more and have them hold up. These are not for daily wear, but fine for every once in a while for a convention or something.
