UTP-X Ultra 16.8w/mk Thermal Putty for VGA GPU IC Processor Rapid Cooling Thermal Pad Replacement Heat Blocking Putty (20g)

Hands down the best thermal putty for consistent performance. I use this over other brands on my highly overclocked 4090. Coupled with PTM for the GPU, the watercooled card rarely ever goes over 47C even when hitting record setting benchmarks (#1 on multiple 3DMark tests for 9950X + 4090 combo). Even slapped this stuff on my watercooled RAM after replacing the thermal pads. Basically anywhere you use thermal pads, this stuff will perform better. Only major downside is that it's not easy to clean and can be a little fiddly to apply. HIghly recommend watching tutorial videos if you've never handled the stuff. You need far less than you think, but once you get used to handling it, it's super easy to apply.

This stuff is AMAZING. Absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend it enough. I'd been struggling with thermal modding my Powercolor 9070XT Red Devil for a few weeks now. They must use some weird proprietary sizing for the VRAM thermal pads, as 1.0mm was too big and prevented core contact, but 0.5mm was too small and led to warmer VRAM temperatures than I'd like. So I relented and bought this stuff after hearing great reviews, and it was entirely worth it. Being putty, I didn't have to worry about sizing at all. It squished down perfectly and now I have probably have the coolest VRAM on any air-cooled 9070XT. I added 5mm pads to the backplate behind the VRAM in addition to this putty, and now my temps don't even see 70C at 4k ultra in any game. It's magnificent. It was super easy to apply as well. You just scoop it up and push it down on the VRAM chips, then the cooler mounting does the rest. I truly didn't think I could get the chips this cool without water cooling. Overall 10/10. I'm running a +400MHz overclock on my VRAM and it doesn't even care. My GPU is quiet, cold, and calculated. I'm never using thermal pads on my VRAM again. This stuff is a cheat code.

Works as expected. Helped fix heat problems I had with my gaming laptop. Having the three finger covers helped to work the putty without getting skin oil on it to soften the putty before applying them to the VRMs. Glad they included them so I didn't have to buy a new pair of gloves (or a box of disposable ones).

I used this on a gpu waterblock that had incredibly small tolerances for the VRAM pads. Either the vram would make good contact or the gpu would, and it came down to a tiny fraction of a millimeter. I discovered this putty was a thing after pulling my hair out for several days trying various pads. Between this putty and using a PTM pad for the gpu instead of paste, it not only makes contact but has much better performance than I've ever seen with pads and paste.

This is the best thermal putty for any applications that need it. (Trust me bro) Just buy it.

bought 2 of these and thought maybe the first one was a fluke. but 2 jars so far that are so dry they are unusable.

I used this to replace the old weird cotton-like thermal pads from my RTX 3070 FE and so far, it seems to be working fine. Unfortunately since the card doesn't have a temperature sensor for the memory modules, I do not have any numbers to back up whether this thermal putty is doing it's job better than the old thermal pads did, but the GPU seems to be working as well as it did on day 1, so that's good. In the box, I got the thermal putty, three finger gloves, and the spatula for spreading the putty. The thermal putty I received was a little on the dry side but it still seemed to spread decently well. The finger gloves are good to have but the spatula works well enough alone to get the putty onto the GPU so I ended up not using them. The amount of thermal putty you get is enough to do a single GPU with a tiny bit of putty left over so do try to be careful and not make too many mistakes, but it's also a much nicer trade-off than having to go searching for the correct thermal pad sizes for your GPU so I didn't mind.

I disagree with the reviewer with adhd. I ALSO have adhd, and i think they got something wrong. This putty IS difficult to apply, but you get used to it. It can get smushed thin pretty easily one it is warmed in your fingers. It does seem like dry play sand, not a paste, and you do not spread it like paste. You roll it into dots and rolls, it will spread when pressed down. also i lightly push it down to judge thickness. This is 100% suitable for pcs and laptops, i used it on a dell g16, thicknesses from 1mm to 2mm and its great.
