Wright Products V150BL Heavy Duty Pneumatic Closer, Black

This was bought for a new 6 foot wooden gate fitted at our property. For the price, it’s amazing. Fits in 5 minutes, super easy. Can be adjusted so the gate closes quickly or slowly and also has a small catch if you need to wedge it open. It also looks a lot better than the other traditional heavy duty springs available as closers. We have 5 year old running about the garden and I would have concerns if they were to put their fingers in the spring. This takes away all concern. Overall, I’d highly recommend this product. It does the job well and is good value for money. I can’t comment on longevity as it’s just been fitted. I will update, should any issue arise.

It works very well on a lightweight flyscreen door!

I bought this item because I have a utility room that is a heat sink. People continually leave door open, so I needed door auto door closers. I did originally buy one of the more usual levered design which the proximity to another door made it highly unsuitable in construction and likely to lock people behind the door, offering no escape if alone in the house. I then found this item which has a low profile and didn’t obstruct the other door function making it safe to enter the pet of the house. Fitting was simple. The draw back was that because of the bracket that fits to the door frame and the path people must take to enter the other room and the proximity. It was considered that passing the bracket people would catch their hand or clothing. The faces of children might come into contact with the bracket. I had no choice but to fit it at the highest point possible. This means that my wife who is quite small cannot reach the locking device to hold the door open when an open door is required while operating in the room. However that said, and great consideration is given to the location of where this closer is to be fitted. It is a good product and value for money. I have had to be inventive to provide my wife with an alternative means to keep the door open when she needs it. I can recommend this product with the above caveat.

Bought this as our fence gate sometimes slams shut.This was very good at the price. Have'nt used it yet,but will do if it starts slamming shut.

I’ve been looking for a gate closer for my heavy, metal garden gate for ages. Most gate closers that look suitable are £100+. I took a gamble with this one and I’m so glad I did. It’s just the right size to not be intrusive and it is still powerful enough to easily shut the heavy gate. You can also adjust the speed and tension which is good for getting the close just right. Highly recommended!

Probably better than the door closer unit that came with the greenhouse

I bought this for my 6ft wooden gate as it would slam in any level of wind. Unfortunately it just didn't work for me. On a positive I gave it to my son and we fitted it to his small wooden slatted gate and it works perfect when he goes in and out with his bike.

Excellent, does exactly what I wanted it to do. Hold open function is very useful. Some doors may require slight modification of the position of this for it to work properly. I had to attach a batten to the wall to obtain sufficient clearance. Quality is good and arrived fairly promptly from the US.

Helaas, piept en kraakt aan alle kanten, zit iets los in de koker wat duidelijk hoorbaar is, is lastig af te stellen en sluit niet goed

Lo instalé en abril y lo tengo funcionando desde entonces, sin problemas en la instalación y funciona muy bien.
