Complete Overview! (Pros/Cons)
I purchased not only the white polygel but also the markartt green polygel kit. The green nails I did were my very first ever set of polygel nails! Polygel is super beginner friendly and I highly suggest it. My second set I painted over with regular polish (red and sparkles). And my most recent set I did with the white polygel as well as the clear that came with my kit. I also decided to buy some gel polish and gold flakes. I have never done nails before and I gotta say that I think they turned out really well. The polygel was strong and lasted about 5-6 weeks. Pros: -Beautiful colors -super adaptable -beginner friendly -not overly time consuming -long lasting -light weight Cons: -I recommend getting an electronic file to help the removal process. (Otherwise it takes ages) -dual forms get super sticky afterwards and are difficult to clean. (Soak in nail polish remover) -with mixing the pigmented polygel and the clear polygel you run the risk of your nails breaking easier. (Not practical; stick with one color and then adding design on top) Breakdown of each set: Set 1; Green polygel kit My first ever set of polygel nails! I was so excited about this kit. However, I was super upset because I had paid for two day shipping and it took three weeks to arrive! Although the polygel took forever to arrive, the lamp I purchased on the same day from markartt only took one day to arrive. Altough the shipping was inconsistent everything arrived unscathed and I was super excited to do my first ever set. This set took me about 3-4 hours. I ended up taking a little dotting tool and regular dark green polish to decorate the nails. I gotta say that on my first set, my nails were super thick. To thin out the underside of my nails after curing I had to use an e-file. I was nervous to use and e-file because I’m not a professional and I gotta say after doing a few sets I am glad I have it. Set 2; Red & Sparkly The red sparkly set I did, I used the white polygel as the base. This set was super simple. It took maybe 3 hours including the red and sparkle polish on top. Super simple. Set 3; Clear/White Marble + Gold This set was by far my most complicated one. I had an idea in my head to make clear and white marble nails. After finishing the set I realized that just the clear and white looked kinda funny and I wanted to do something dramatic with them. I went ahead and purchased some gold and rose gold flakes as well as a gel polish set. I used the markartt base polish as a type of glue for the gold flakes and it worked really well. And then I used the gold glittery gel polish for my accent nail. Although these nails were beautiful, they didn’t last as long as my first two sets. I think the combination of the clear polygel and the pigmented polygel mixed together made the nail loose structural stability. I think that using two different pigmented polygels would probably work better. The clear polygel is just a slightly thinner consistency. These nails took about 4 hours to do, but only lasted 3 weeks.

Favorite Polygel Brand- Tried n True
This is legit the only polygel brand I use. It’s easy to work with and cures to perfection. I use a high wattage lamp and 30sec to cure is great. I use 70% isopropyl alcohol and it doesn’t leave specs or anything so it proves to be good quality. Easy to maneuver how I need it and easy to come off when needed but durable wear. Always looking crisp and clean.

Poly gel
Excellent extension gel. It has a very good consistency, does not run and is easy to work with. The pink nude color is natural and beautiful. The nails are strong and durable, ideal for both home and salon. Very good quality for the price.

GREAT PRODUCT!
I have given this four stars only because the picture shows more of a nude. While I do love the color that it really is it's more a nude pink. I am new to the polygel world I started out with modelones brand. Which is a little too sticky and more loose in the product. This one was excellent it was more firm and easier to maneuver. I am excited about trying all other new colors I highly recommend it! Update: I also ended up buying the clear makartt. Just wonderful!! I struggled so much with modelones polygel. This one does not stick at all and it just makes it easy to manuever. I encapsulated some glitter and I absolutely love the outcome! Will keep buying more colors!

Love the color
I really love this color! It is really bright and sparkly, but it's such a great color for summer. The poly gel lasted a long time, probably longer then most which is always a great thing! . The only downfall to this product is that it was a little difficult to sculpt into my nails, and I believe it's because of the glitter, but the color and durability definitely out weighs the longer amount is time applying the product. I haven't caught any other colors from this brand, but I do have other glittery colors from other brands and they have also been a little more difficult to apply, so I can't really say it's the brand. I got it for a great price especially for the size of the bottle. It was a littke thick but then again the other glitter ones I own are the same. Size great! Effectiveness great!

Not worth it
Is it just me or was this a little sticky and tacky and hard to mold? I had to use a lot of slip for it to work and then it started flooding my cuticles. I don’t like these at all. I wish I never bought them. I just thought I should try it out because everyone else was doing it and no it didn’t work out for me. The colors is pretty, but not on white girls.

Color swatches
Easier to push down with a brush. Doesn’t liquify and get sticky with slip solution as much as other poly gels. By slip solution I readjust mean alcohol. Ok. I don’t know why none of the reviews seem to list the color purchased and just say “nice color.” Here are the ones I tried in my quest for the perfect nude. For context I am Western European Caucasian with hair that went from dark blonde to brown with age, some freckles, pinky undertones. The warmer picture of my hand is probably truest to color, but even these are a little off. LeCorail and VIP- too pink to look nude. In the pictures they look peachier than they are, they are. On my skin VIP is giving more cotton candy than nude. Peach - way too light French press - still a little pink but is likely the winner for me. A siesta - looked brown and kind of dark in some reviews. Might be a little dark for me but is much much closer to my actual skin tone, especially the area under the nail which ends up having casts of mauve. Puce - darker than I expected and more late colored. They are all remarkably opaque with a solid non grainy color except Le corail which has a slight translucency. I hope these descriptions and pictures help someone!

Really pretty bright pink and goes on smoothly
This color is so beautiful! Goes on nicely and easy to apply. Dries well under uv light, really like how nice and smooth it looks! This is a nice sized tube, it’ll last a while. It was easy to form and set.

Perfect colour for my polygel nail extensions and infils. Its exactly the colour I need to achieve the nude look or as a natural base colour! Love the 2-in-1 that its both colour and polygel! Its a little tacky so it requires a few curing sessions but i usually have to buff and file to neaten up anyway so not an issue for me!

MERAVIGLIOSO!

I've been looking for the perfect nude and this is it, a siena. It's a pink based nude rather than a brown based one. Looks very natural, easy to use, nice and thick and opaque so you don't need to use much and get full coverage. Big tube will last for ages.
