One of the interesting things about Motorhomes is all of the lights they use to provide interior lighting. I have over 60 light fixtures in my coach that use this type of light. The ones I want to replace are all standard filament bulbs that are 12 Volt and are controlled through a Genie command center that adjusts the brightness of the lights. I took a chance and ordered these lights for my motorhome. Here is what I found: 1. The bulb space is limited in the fixtures, but these bulbs fit perfectly. It is still a tight fit so you have to be patient to line up the pins and have them horizontal to insert. I found that using a small flashlight to illuminate the openings helped me get them aligned just right. Once inserted, they fit perfectly. 2. As opposed to others I have tried, these lights have a molded unit around the electronics to protect them and to help dissipate heat. The “puck” works quite well and the light stays cool where the original filament bulbs got quite hot!!! These bulbs use 10 percent of the energy that the original bulbs did but provide more light and a whiter light!! 3. The one thing that I had feared was that the Aladdin system would not work with these lights. I was wrong. I can still dim them just fine without leaving any of the old bulbs in. What was more important to me is that I can turn them on or off without a delay. They work perfectly in the system. 4. The light fixtures in the motorhome are a giant pain to open in that they are glass on glass and you have to turn them 90 degrees to open or lock them in place. I fought for several hours with many of them to get them open. I did finally find one method that works without breaking the glass. Ensure the lights are cold, squirt WD49 with a application tip between the two pieces of glass. Just a bit!! Do NOT flood it. Wait five minutes and then open. Worked every time. Just ensure you completely clean the area and the glass before restoring service. These light work perfectly and I am very happy with them. I have purchased over 80 of them so that I have spares. Wish they had a large pack discount!!! I would definately recommend them if you are trying to re-lamp and older motorhome.

Great rv lights Easy to install Work great and bright

These bulbs are extremely bright. We got them for our 5th wheel rv kitchen and it lights up the whole kitchen now. One made a big difference, 4 changed the look of our kitchen area. Well worth the value. And easy to install.

Exceptional rv lighting

I don't usually post reviews for my Amazon purchases, but for exceptionally bad or good products. This is one of the latter. Bought 2 packs of 4 each in July 2020, installed them immediately in recessed luminaries (so very little ventilation and heat disposal), and all are still working great after over 4 years, so I purchased another 4 to replace failing LEDs from other brands I was using elsewhere. The new ones are slightly different, see picture (old one to the left, and new one to the right): besides different packaging (old one came in a box, new one came in an anti-static bag), the new one has no marks on its circuit board (the old ones had "+" and "-" marks) and the new ones are slight smaller, about 1mm or so. I've immediately put the new ones to use, in one place right besides an old one, and was pleased to observe they have the exact same color and brightness. Will keep the new ones under observation and if/when any of them fails, will come back to report. If you see no updates, you can assume they are all still working good (both the old and the new ones).

Purchased to create new port and starboard bow nav lights for my sailboat. I created the housing on my 3D printer and found these LED's unbelievably simple to work with. The intensity of the LED's are simply "Blinding". I'm anxious to install them on my boat and check it out at night. Attached are a few pictures of the product. One picture was taken in my dark garage with the red Lense over it and the intensity is unbelievable.

Perfect fit, we'll lit, no heat, great value!

Used these to replace the old quartz halogen bulbs in a stove vent. Works well and the light is not too ultra-ultra white as another LED replacement I tried.

Much better made that original ones used, can handle the high temperatures and exhaust fumes.

Works far better than the pill shaped lights I've been regularly replacing for years. Far brighter, much easier to insert. The remaining question is longevity. Time will tell. Very pleased thus far.

You never know what you are going to get when you order something like this. I knew they would work but I wasn't expecting them to out perform the original Halogen bulbs. Not only are these brighter and whiter, over all, they illuminate better. They also use a fraction of the power and generate far less heat so there'll be no more coloration around the under counter light pucks. If I need more, these'll be the ones I buy.

Only reason this isn't 5 stars is the posts are smaller than what come on halogens, so fixtures may require some adjustment to get a good fit. The dimensions were perfect for under-cabinet pot lights. We had installed a paper towel holder and a full roll so close to the hot halogens was almost a fire hazard, so made the switch. After checking a few these seemed the best size, and they fit the round hole perfectly. Definitely a whiter tone than the warm halogens, but bright and acceptable. No dimmer in this system, and we noticed no flickering during the first few days after installation.

It is very bright. It did not like working in my range hood's dimmer switch. It would flicker when dimmed. No problems in my under counter lights. It is small and fits perfect in the pots.
