BigAlex Folding Walking Cane with LED Light Review
The delivery was as expected. This is a great product. It is strong, you can fold it to put it in a small place. It comes with a light that spread wide, and it is very helpful if you get up at night and the lights are off. I’m very happy with my cane.

Base is a little wobbly if you have balance issues.
Very good cane, easy to use and light weight. But might not be the best choice for people with balance issues. I thought the little quad foot would be good, but it just felt wobbly, eve3n with another brand/style. I switched to a version with a bigger base and four separate metal feet. That works better for me. I'm still a bit wobbly, but that's a natural result of hip replacement, I understand.

A fine choice with many good features
This is a very useful cane that you can choose with confidence. The first product that I received was okay except the LED light refused to light. The seller was very fast and responsive and resolved the matter satisfactorily and cheerfully. Normally I'd reduce the rating by one star for this, but frankly the seller handled it so well I am fine with retaining a 5-star score for this product and its seller. This cane is durable and stable; it can extend to a length that is one inch longer than another (much simpler) folding cane that I have. This additional length is helpful for me (I'm 6' tall with a 33" inseam). The articulated foot mechanism works well and helps with the cane's stability. The plastic band that holds the folded cane together, plus the carrying bag, are additional pluses when transporting the cane. The LED light is bright enough, adjustable, and generally useful. About the only constructive criticism that I can offer is that I wish the strap's loop was a bit larger for bigger hands/wrists. I will also say that this cane got the "seal of approval" from my physical therapist, and she's pretty particular. She particularly appreciated the action of the articulating foot, saying "Wow, these have gotten a lot better." So there you go. I am looking forward to the day when my injuries are healed and a no longer need to rely on a cane as a safety measure. But "for the duration," this cane serves me well. It would certainly be fine for longer-term use as well.

Not as well made as I would like
This is a cane where you can either have one foot or a very small platform with a ‘joint’ that moves. The joint seems to add a little more stability but because it also folds up, if you step on the joint or it catches, the cane will stretch & come apart. The smooth handle is a little small although it does have a flashlight (batteries included). It’s also a little tall for us short people (5’4”). It’s supposed to be free-standing but routinely falls over even on a flat surface. I also used my previous cane to help me close the car door & hook items with handles. Not exactly the function of a cane but it was extremely helpful; this cane simply stretches apart & can’t do it. I will probably keep it & use it since the rotating joint adds more stability than the single foot of my Medline cane & the flashlight is a big plus but it’s definitely not as sturdy or well made as the Medline. I’ve also noticed it tends to bend a little bit probably cause it is a fold up cane & comes apart. Definitely not as strong as the Medline.

Great Folding Cane
This is a great folding cane. It folds and unfolds real easy. The light is very bright and useful with the ability to light straight ahead or down right in front of the surface you will be walking over. The handy storage bag that comes with the cane works pretty go. My had a knife cut that went through the plastic package a sliced a hole in my storage bag. The more I use the more it gets larger. I am going to email the manufacturer ti see if I get an uncut one.

Game changer -Don’t pass this cane up
WOW! A lot of thought was put in when designing this cane. The handle has a comfortable grip and the wide base makes it sturdy. It comes with a strap that is used to secure the cane when folded it has a pocket with a protective plastic sheet where you put your information in case you leave it somewhere. There are several height adjustments, the instructions have pictures guiding you to select the perfect length. The light in the handle is an added bonus.

grreat design but flimsy cane
I liked the design. I didn't like the workmanship of the cane. It unfolded easily and went together easily. However the top piece had a screw cap that did not tighten well and the cane rattled. I was constantly checking the screw cap to make sure that it was as tight as I could make it. When I was in a store my cane fell to the floor because the wrist strap broke off. I sewed it on that night as best as I could. I rely on the strap so that I will not drop t he cane. I contacted the company. Their response was to ask me for a photograph. I don't really see how a photograph was going to show how flimsy the cane was. I definitely would not show the shakiness of the cane. I didn't trust that I would get anything other than another flimsy shaky cane so I decided to return the cane and get a different brand. I can't wait around for the company to decide what, if anything they would do . I have to make an addendum. As I was packing up the cane, I discovered that one of the rubber pads on the bottom was missing. i don't know if it was missing when it arrived. I didn't really look at it. It looked like pad had been glued on. As I said the cane is flimsy.

I bought this cane after a knee injury; it was much easier to use than the crutches. It's very sturdy. I like that it can stand on it's own and has a light right on the handle which is perfect for night time trips to the bathroom. The fact that it folds up is perfect when traveling.
