I don't know what the controversy was with this product or care what anyone says. This is bomb! I loved Tulla but tried this and omg. It's non greasy, doesn't make you look like a ghost and gives you a healthy glow/shine. I'm a matte girl brown skin girl but when I wear this on top of my moisturizer I get a healthy, youthful glow. You can almost use it as a primer but when I wear it, I don't even want to wear makeup. I kid you not, when I do wear it alone or under makeup, I get tons of compliments that my skin looks so good. I'm like me? Thank You. Lol. Keep away from your eyes tho, makes mine burn. I will def keep repurchasing.

The texture is silky and light, absorbing quickly without leaving a heavy or sticky feel. It’s comfortable to wear even in warm weather and sits well under makeup. The tube size is convenient for bags, and the formula has a clean, beach-friendly style with dependable quality. Durable protection that holds up well outdoors and feels great on the skin.

UPDATE: I’m no longer as thrilled with this product as I used to be. I find that it leaves a thick feeling on my skin and pills over dry patches easily. The texture is dry (which is why I called it matte before) but also oily at the same time. I don’t know how to explain it other than feeling like a “greasy powder.” I know it’s an oxymoron. I suppose it’s like the sunscreens that claim to be “dry touch” sunscreens but their always still greasy. It does leave a sheen on my skin which goes away eventually but the texture of the product can still be felt hours later. It doesn’t really absorb into the skin, which it should since it’s a chemical not a physical sunscreen. Works decently under makeup, provided you use a good primer. I’ve been using The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer. Original: It is so hard to find a face sunscreen that’s cruelty free and vegan. Most CF & vegan sunscreens pride themselves on being “natural” and only containing physical sunscreens like titanium dioxide and non micro zinc. That’s all well & good but if your skin is any darker than ghostly white, the non micro zinc will leave a white cast. If you’re not even a “white” person, then forget about it. I’m so glad I’ve found a chemical sunscreen that’s CF & vegan and doesn’t cost $60/1 oz. It’s also very matte for a chemical sunscreen which I like. The bottle says “moisturizing” but I don’t find it very hydrating which is not a problem for me since I have oily skin. If I had dry skin I would probably apply a light moisturizer before this sunscreen and I may need to do so in the winter. The product is very “liquid-y” but not watery. Easy to apply but there is a very slight “chemical-y” smell (kinda like paint) but only if you deeply inhale. Once the sunscreen is applied and you wash your hands, it will go away. This is not an issue for me. Great product at a great price, will definitely order again & again!

Bought this for a 10 day trip/cruise in HI. Pretty sure I was spared second degree burns because of it. Will never leave home without it now.

This sunscreen/lotion for the face is very nice. It is light and blends in easily and quickly. I enjoy the scent, reminds me of summer time and all the happiness I associate with it.

I have very sensitive skin and this has worked the best for me on my face

Got a great deal on this highly recommended product. Very happy. Applies and absorbs much better than other sunscreens for face. A little pricey compared to some others, but worth it.

I used this in the past and really liked it. It goes on easily, smells good, it's non-sticky and most of all it really works well to prevent burning. When I ran out I tried two other products when I couldn't find this in a local store. One was a cheap store brand: thick, hard to rub in, irritated my skin and provided almost no protection. The other provided some protection but was a bit sticky/hard to apply and caused skin irritation. So I came back to this brand and it's slightly less expensive on Amazon than in the local drugstore.

Over all worked well in terms of sun protection, no white cast and non greasy...the deal breakers for me was that it gave me horrible burning eyes. I tried it a few times to make sure and the eye irritation and burning was so bad ..I stopped using it on my face.

Love it. No spots. Light weight non greasy and not white ghost mask.

I researched A LOT about sunscreens that will compliment my new skincare routine. One that will tick at least most of the boxes of a good sunscreen: nice finish, feel, and price. After a diligent study, i came to decide buying this...for the first time after reading all the positive comments here...not one but 2 units right away. To my dismay, this sunscreen does feel light to the skin...but it BURNS MY EYES TERRIBLY and it affects my mood because my eyes are irritated and so dangerous on the road when i am driving. There is something in its ingredients that is causing this sting and so does the smell...something like a Vinegar. so so disappointed. Now i am using it on my body instead.
